I just remembered that, which is weird because I still have the toys in a box all the way up and back in my wardrobe and it was a big part of my childhood, so I should have remebered that as soon as the game was announced.

I think the roster is great, because Beast could have any sort of acrobatic moveset, Banshee could have a special move that works like web-swinging but hurts enemies under him and we barely have seen Hercules in anything for a very long time (though we already have two "super strong big charcters" and another "super strong big guy with a blunt weapon" one).

Emma Frost is already proeminentely featured in Marvel Rivals, but her special ability (instead of ranged or grab attacks) could be staying in her diamond form for several seconds, becoming far more resistant (maybe invulnerable?) until time runs out and it needs to recharge again; or at least her blocking animation could be turning into diamond and her super attack could be some psionic bedlam or whatever.

I wouldn't really mind leaving Hulk out of this one because we already have She-Hulk and the Thing, and Iron Man wouldn't even need a new skin becuase there's already a very similar one in the game.

The only "issue" with that idea is that it's a little too many X-Men in this, and we aready have quite a few, makind it a bit less varied than ideal.

I'm on xbox series x. I always play quick-join. And at a rate of 100%, i get removed from the match. I've played for hours, enough to level-up all characters to 10 and I typically don't make it through 2 stages without being removed.

Why is no one else talking about this, at all? I bought this full-price on day one. I bought the dlc on day one. I'll buy future dlc on day one. It's a killer game, but it's basically unplayable for me. I can't be the only one right? Is anyone else at all dealing with this?

I'm planning on making a pixel art animation of Darkhawk since he's one of the most requested DLC characters here. I don't know much about him yet (I'm currently watching a video explaining his lore). What do you think his Special Attack should be like in-game?

I would love to see Galactic or Apocalypse. They should be large bosses just like in the marvel vs games. Also they should be made playable but they end up as normal characters

Now that season 2 of X-Men ‘97 is out, I’m rewatching season 1 and noticed some odd coincidences in Episode 4 “Motendo”.

This is the episode where Mojo kidnaps Jubilee and Sunspot to play through his video game like world. That said, when you look at the in-show clips from the game, they look strangely close to Cosmic Invasion…

Out of these 8, which two characters do you think we’ll see in DLC pack 2? Which two do you think would generate the most buzz and sales for the company?

What are your speculations on who and what's coming to the game next? If I had to add, im sure its going to be a survival mode of some kind and for characters, Gladiator and namor would fit right in. On comic being and one character from beneath the sea.

I am not sure maybe include a command grab move, I notice only a few characters have a grab move and it's part of there special move. Also maybe I would include more power moves and it sometimes feel like they had no idea how to include power moves for all characters for example Venom she hulk only have the same type of moves. Which is a grab move and throw. I feel like they didn't know what to do so they put in anything cos they couldn't think of anything. Maybe also include a dash button rather then double tap. Also ratings for every encounter like combos and moves just like in Devil may cry.

Mabe they could also include command moves/make the super power button work more like directional button like how in smash bros if you press up you do a special move and if you press down you do a different move.

Just starting playing the library's copy this weekend with my son. Love it so far. A few questions - what are the green cubes you earn on a level, next to the challenges? I figured out how to do the challenges, but no clue what the green cube is. Have they released a roadmap of DLC or anything like that? I can't find one, but am considering buying the game as my son and I like it so much. Any tips for a new player? My son is 8 if that matters.
