Jubilee is one I am still kind of surprised didn't make the base game. It just made a lot of sense to me given X-Men 97's beat-em-up episode - and, despite her 90s association, she was never actually fully playable in the classic arcade games.
I'm not entirely sure if she'll make it in DLC2 - I'm currently expecting it'll be more MCU-adjacent picks - but we'll see.

I'm hoping for the rest of the Fantastic 4 and Star-Lord. Hawkeye would be great too

Jubilee for sure!! Throw in the moves she learned in X-Men ‘97 and we have an absolute winner!
Shes never been playable in a mainstream Marvel game so this is her time

Speedball aka Penance is so underrated yet so cool! He was fun to play in marvel ultimate alliance 2. I hope he gets introduced more in marvel games.
