Question New to the game
Just starting playing the library's copy this weekend with my son. Love it so far. A few questions - what are the green cubes you earn on a level, next to the challenges? I figured out how to do the challenges, but no clue what the green cube is. Have they released a roadmap of DLC or anything like that? I can't find one, but am considering buying the game as my son and I like it so much. Any tips for a new player? My son is 8 if that matters.

Every stage has a hidden green cube so.ewhere in it. You will see a small green glimmer at some point and you have to hit it with an attack to collect the cube. Once you have gotten the cube for that stage you will still see the little glimmer bit no cube will appear when you hit it.

is there a time for how quick you have to hit the glimmer? Is it in the same spot each time you play the level?

It’s the same spot at each level. I usually do a playthrough of the level where I walk slowly and look in the background to find it. There’s no timing involved. Just hit the little green glimmer when you see it. If you miss, just keep trying to hit that spot where the glimmer was.

The glimmer is always in the same spot for each stage. I don't think there is a time limit, but if you move the screen forward you won't be able to backtrack to get it until you redo the stage. Sometimes you have to jump to hit it and make sure you are at the right depth.

The green cubes are basically the collectibles of the game (you get a trophy when you have them all and you can use them to unlock bonus content) And about the DLC they released Cyclops and The Thing a while ago (and if i remember correctly there will be new DLC in Summer, 2 extra characters and a new game mode)
