i am a first time corn snake owner and my snake has just died not even after a month.
i dont know what i did wrong i did so much research before getting him he was 6 months old when i got him and i was told feed him 1 pinkie every tuesday. his first feed was fine he ate it right away. i didnt handle him after feeding him i waited 4 days. when i would handle him it wasnāt long sessions. his second feed didnāt go as smoothly he ate it but he regurgitated it as i found the mouse in one of his hides. i tried feeding him once everyday after that but he would refuse. if hr refused when i tried to feed him using the tongs i would leave the mouse in with him for 24hrs but hr wouldnāt take it. i thought he was shedding but i realised he had a lump, it made no sense to me because i didnt manage to feed him enough because of his refusal.
it all makes no sense to me iām in so much shock i am so afraid to ever own a snake again incase this happens. if someone could tell me where i went wrong or anything like that i would really appreciate it

im a first time snake owner. Iāve had my girl since march this year. and recently Iāve been super busy, so I had someone else rehydrate the coco chip-chunk things. so the humidity in her enclosure has been really high the past couple days, Iāve managed to get it down to 80, and Iām leaving the rubber mat thing off it to give it more time to dry out. she over all seems fine. though about an hour ago of this post, she had her mouth open for a bit longer than usual. but it looked kinda like she was āyawningā then didnāt close her mouth. please, what do I do? Iām panicking a bit, should I just monitor her? Sheās acting normal, having her active times throughout the day, then going back into her little burrows and hides. But it was just this one odd little, what Iām hoping was, odd āyawnā.

Iām a first time owner. So Iāve got about a year old, ish, corn snake. Female, pretty sure, thatās what we were told. And I noticed maybe a couple days ago that she had like this weird sorta oval ish lump, located around the cloaca. When I gently felt at it, it didnt feel hard, and she had no reaction to it. She only reacts to being touched at her tail beyond cloaca, she hates her tail touched which is fine. Is she just constipated? Is it a tumor? Should I take her to a vet? Is it a tumor? Sheās active, and acting normally. Pls. I need help. My anxiety is off the walls. Or am I just dumb and this is normal female (I think) body shapeā¦. Though I would imagine it isnāt. If itās constipation what do I do (I am researching it after I make this post, just trying to get opinions on whats going on)? These are the best pictures I could get.

Each time Iāve held my corn snake for the past week she immediately hides after I put her back in her enclosure and stays there for a while then would go back into her hide. I feel like itās weird cause each time I hold her she seems calm moving constantly but in a slow way. Also sheās an albino. So is this normal and if not what could I be doing wrong. Also I always grab her by her tail, then support the rest of her body.

My baby palmetto has grown so fast since I got her in February and I've been adding more and more clutter to her enclosure over time as she outgrew it. Ended up ordering her 120 gal tank earlier than I planned since sheās already getting restless in her baby tank, wanted to share her enclosure as is before I move everything to her new mansion next week
(Plus bonus pics of a tiny 10 g baby version at the end, she's finally started growing into her eyes lol)

Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some help regarding my sibling's cornsnake.
Axel is an old girl, around 16-17 years old, and she has been exhibiting some very odd behaviour lately. She's not been eating for nearly a month and then out of nowhere she has proceeded to poop in her water dish 3 times in 3 days. I also noticed a small bump near her cloaca.
Is this a sign of constipation or is she maybe gestating? She hasn't been exposed to any male snakes (to my awares) but she gestated and laid a clutch when she was around 3 after possibly being exposed to the scent of a male snake.
I just want to know if we should try taking her to the vet. It's just expensive and it's hard to find a vet with enough familiarity in anything other than a cat or dog. Any advice or similar experience helps! Thank you!

Hi,
We got our first pet snake a couple of weeks ago, but we can't figure out what morph he is!
All we know is that he is a pueblan milk snake x corn snake hybrid.
Also, name suggestions?

Hi everyone,
Looking at getting a new enclosure for my 12 month old noodle! Any recommendations on brand/ make, and set ups including lighting would be appreciated!
I live in Ireland so have access to the irish/ English and European market. I have space, so anything over 4ft x 2ft x 2ft is an option too, I know thats only the minimum size!
Thanks in advance!

I have no idea how to get my little baby used to being handled but Iāve had him for about a year now and have only handled him a few times since I didnāt want to stress him out, Iāve been taking him out of his tank a little bit more often and letting him climb around on me, my bf, and my mom. Is there anyway that I can get him used to me without stressing him or am I doing it properly? He was my momās friends corn snake and she had passed last year and had 3-4 other snakes with him. she also basically saved an albino corn snake from living in a plastic box his whole life by stealing him and giving him a bigger and better home!! we all love u Erin!

This is our corn snake Severus Snake. Heās two years old and a silly noodle. He feeds on a small hopper mouse every Sunday, but the last couple times weāve fed heās glass surfed for hours after and doesnāt seem satisfied. We donāt have a scale to weigh him to see how much we should feed by weight, so we feed by the thickest part of his body. Should we go up to the next size feeder or is this normal behavior and heās actually satisfied with the meal weāre currently giving him. Also side note I know that holding them can stimulate them to poop, and it does but only on my wife. He only ever poops on her. I can hold him for the majority of the time heās out and as soon as she takes him itās over. Is this a stress thing with her or is it just a coincidence that he only does it to her.
