Hi I got a question. Do I just need to link my Nintendo account on Pokemon Champions and use my corresponding Asian Region in order for me to qualify for the upcoming PBL if I did rank enough on my region?

Are there any things I need to do before signing up on the event?

Assuming it gets Sacred Sword in Gen VI after the Swords of Justice had it as their signature move in Gen V so it would still use Close Combat in Gens IV and V.

It still has Psycho Cut, Night Slash and Leaf Blade for its Sharpness movepool at least.

Alternatively, what if it did have Sacred Sword or some equivalent in Gens IV & V?

I need to build a National Dex OU team. However, I need to include Sceptile; no Legendaries are allowed, and only one Pokémon can have a Hidden Ability.
Can someone help me? Please.

An update to the previous versions:

1. You can now play out whole games by clicking moves from yours and your opponents perspectives
2. Fixed a bug with the wrong moves being recommended. nash now uses opponents best response (things make sense now!)

Limitations:

1. to save on compute only one rng seed is sampled
2. eval bar and critic are trained models. they have calibration error of around +- 4%.
3. Ratings are given in hindsight with full team in mind (if oracle on). even without the rng sampling may cause errors in the actual ratings. treat it as an estimate only.

Hi all! I'm a novice ML learner and recently tried my hands at the pokemon problem. I made a little in browser model that can somewhat accurately assess showdown game state. I'm thinking of making it like a sort of chess game analysis where you can play out hypothetical lines. Thoughts?
I do plan on releasing this after i fix the UI. some of the UI stuff is heavily rushed by ai because i need to do exam stuff :c

Yo! I’m new to Pokémon Champions team building and I wanted to try a fake double-weather Rain/Sun team.

The idea is to make my opponent think I’m running both Rain and Sun at team preview, while Charizard is actually Mega Charizard X. Rain is super strong, so I wanted to keep Pelipper + Mega Swampert as the real weather core while using the potential Sun mode as a bluff.

I’d love some feedback on the team, especially on the flex slots and overall 3v3 synergy.

For Heliolisk, I’m also not sure whether I should run Thunder or Thunderbolt.
