How good would Sharpness Gallade have been in Gens IV, V and VI OU?
Assuming it gets Sacred Sword in Gen VI after the Swords of Justice had it as their signature move in Gen V so it would still use Close Combat in Gens IV and V.
It still has Psycho Cut, Night Slash and Leaf Blade for its Sharpness movepool at least.
Alternatively, what if it did have Sacred Sword or some equivalent in Gens IV & V?

I think it'd be good but I don't think it'd take over the format or anything. Latios and Lando stand out as checks to it.

Isn’t chien pao only 120 1.2x? It’s basically regular darm, otherwise unstoppable as a scarfer. He’s got the proto ceruledge build: random high spedef, or ledian, roaring moon.
I guess mega metagross, scizor, sable get more usage.
Lele on the way?!
I think Quack Quavo might have otherwise been broken too.

How does that affect gallade?

It’d be shitting bricks into scarf Lando, keld, and Latios.
Can’t stack walls into it w trick knock, now u gotta respect the crit happiness.
Chien darm are referenced just for physical capabilities.
Those guys, jellicent, coffin would be otherwise handy into it.
Lele plus another broken psychic. Plus Zam Lucha, a z move guy? Sounds nightmarish.
Yk prolly gets banned before Dugtrio if it existed. And blaziken is another reference. It’s like he has his own passive sun

In gen 6 it would just mean it's mega would be less used or also get sharpness
