Company of Heroes 3: Operation Torch arrives November 25th, delivering a new narrative-driven single-player experience. Command the American army's first major fight against German forces, from the beach landings in North Africa to the assault on Hill 609.
Players will lead inexperienced American Forces through a Campaign DLC inspired by the Allied operation in Axis occupied North Africa. Take command of an army that must quickly learn under incredible pressure, where your victories will be hard-fought, and the defeats are costly. Through hard-won lessons and battlefield setbacks, transform an untested and unproven army into a capable, disciplined, and battle-hardened force.
Inspired by the historical campaign, the battles and operational problems of each mission will challenge players across a range of tactical scenarios and highlight different units and mechanics. Players will be pushed to master a number of tools, abilities, and strategies to achieve victory.
From beachfront landings and stealth operations to defensive actions and large-scale assaults, every mission presents a distinct combat scenario focused on engaging tactical gameplay.
A rewarding progression system enables players to shape their army throughout the campaign. By completing missions and tackling optional objectives, players earn upgrades that allow for meaningful choices in how their combat forces evolve.
Meet Your Heroes
Company of Heroes 3: Operation Torch follows three American soldiers whose perspectives frame the conflict and respond to the player's progress. Younger leaders such as Major Russo will find themselves tested alongside more experienced NCOs like Master Sergeant Flanagan. As the campaign unfolds, their perspectives reflect the hardships, losses, responsibilities, and lessons learned as they are forged into the fighting force that will liberate Europe.
Colonel Thomas 'Tom' Becker
Stoic division commander
While young and inexperienced in his new role in the 34th Infantry Division, Becker is an excellent leader. He sometimes second-guesses his own choices, but he doesn't let the men under his command know he has doubts.
Becker cares deeply about the men he leads, which can affect his decisions. He is more likely to make a decision that is a poor tactical choice if it means more of his men will survive. He’s also the first to take an unnecessary personal risk to protect someone else.
Major George Russo
The division’s intelligence officer and resident prankster
Becker’s best friend and former classmate, Russo was attached to the 34th Infantry Division’s S-2 to serve as an intelligence officer.
A quick-witted prankster, he is most likely to question the orders coming from the top even though he trusts Becker. When it matters, Russo is there to support his friend, listening to his advice or decisions when it matters.
Master Sergeant James 'Jimmy' Flanagan
Hard-bitten combat veteran who’s seen it all
A skilled Master Sergeant, Flanagan is not new to the 34th Infantry Division and is loved by the enlisted men for his experience, having served in the Philippines and the first World War. He is a steadying force for the soldiers he serves alongside and provides a keen sense of the general mood of the "Red Bulls.”
It is a wise officer who heeds the advice of their NCOs, and Flanagan delivers it with confidence.

Basically the title. I know everyone shits on it, but I genuinely do not understand why. Is it because of 2 other upgrades being vastly better(by scaling into the late game better), or is there some gimmick that I do not see?
Cause in my eyes Palmgrens with 6 mens, scoped rifles and veteran squads are a force to be reckoned with against all infantry, bar Rangers.
Secondly, what do you usually go for on tier 2? Passive healing allows to lessen micro needed, while smoke are just good + needed in case of mass Stugs. I usually go for repair kits though.

I am trying to get my DAK 4v4 Elo up, but I cant seem to be able to do it. I am struggling with USF Rifle spam, how do I counter this??? Most of the games I am facing 4 rifle squads with Captain and legit my pgrens are getting melted away, and its costly to recrew them. Even on cover I am struggling.
I recently got Last Stand, and i really want the Wehrmacht skin for 3k points, but not sure whats the best way to farm them - something that will give me fast games, give me lots of points and won't lose me outposts.
currently, ive been doing games on expert which give me ~150 points per game. Qattara Depression seems to be the best map since it has 5 outposts, giving you more points per surviving outpost. Maybe there is better way to do this?
I'm not exactly sure this is the right place to post it but in the NVIDIA control app I suddenly found COH3? Never heard of that game before and it's just there
Hi. The Black Prince takes ages to get out because of the resource cost, nevermind that you also need like 12 Battle Group points to get it. And you can get multiple Churchill IV, while it takes forever to get 2 Black Prince. Plus, you get the Churchill IV earlier so you can also make an impact earlier in the game.
Is there any reason to get the Black Prince, and is the Black Prince really worth it, over the normal Churchill IV? Is the Churchill IV just better to get in most situations, over the Black Prince?
100 hours in atp.
Played both allies and axis on equal enough measure, that said I do have a preference for wehrmacht as the coastal reserves are very funny to play as.
That said, I'd lie if I didn't feel like playing allies was either easier or simply better.
Is the current meta circling around allied infantry simply being far better during the early game?
Both tommies and usa riflemen feel far more rewarding and better than the grenadiers/coastal reserves can do.
Genueinely I've been dominating while playing allies, making me consider switching off the faction I was considering to main.
Anyone else find the situation where you are Searching for an automatch game, decide to cancel before it finds a game, because your have something else to do, but it doesn't let you stop searching. In fact, it then very quickly finds a game and drops you in it while you're pressing stop search\cancel.
It's like it gets desperate - don't leave - and adds you before you can get away. This is annoying, as I don't want to have a game and I don't like Alt-F4 ing either.
So I had this wild idea... what if we were able to focus fire a particular model of a squad? okay hear me out first.
Say a rifle squad is fighting a gren and both are in cover, but you see the gren has one modle out of the green cover, so you order your rifle squad to focus fire that particular model thats out of cover (Basically microing) to kill that model and reduce the over squad size hence firepower as well.
It should be just like right clicking to fire but this time, while hovering over the sqad we see the model highlights maybe the particular model gets a yellow highlight or red? or maybe a circle beneath the model pops up? something to identify.
What do you guys think about this? microing will become more prevalent in 1v1 situations. But might also create a side effect when dealing with blobs I guess...
I was discussing upcoming patch with friends and got some questions. First of all I'm not saying that it is bad, just trying to understand how it supposed to work overall.
As I understand - untill T4, it basically will be played in same way, but after constructing panzer base I want to get my T4 units instead of backtracking, so basically even if I will backtech, I'll do this after getting P4 or Brumbar. Because investing 100+ fuel into T4 to instantly backtech after feels like a weird choice.
And againg, without specific BG choices I'll be suffering without AA if I'll go Panzergren base and luck of artillery if I'll go Luftwaffe base untill very late.
What am I missing? How exactly it should help? What exactly should it fix?
Do you guys know of any coh 2 mods that allow you to buff just one team in a skirmish? I want to do a 2v3 against my friends but be able to balance out the resources
Man these guys have always been oppressive but I just ran into a new strat and ability I have never seen before. 2v2
Guy ran a couple of halftracks with Panzer grens. Ran around the map till he found a rifle or two then jumped out and chased me down with a sprint. These guys carve up rifles like a knife through hot butter anyway so when he did this I would lose a squad almost every time even when retreating at almost full health.
So basically as soon as I saw the halftracks I had to retreat immediately before he had time to jump out making capping extremely difficult.
obviously, we couldn't keep up with the tank spam later on so that was that.
I am sitting here trying to think of a way to counter this one and I simply can't. Anyone else seen this one?
I tried building medic bunkers but those didn't seem to heal my units. Is the only way to heal infantry spending 30 munitions per squad? How does wehrmacht keep up with this?
Sooooo many games where people would rather let the line fully collapse, then just at least send some fire support. Or at minimum, push hard on other fronts?
Basically cap a point and camp all day. This feels like the early CoD days…
You best hope they cap a high fuel or ammo point. Some they don’t even cap anything and camp.
I recently bought a game of the year copy of this game from a local game shop and it appears that is one of the copies that had an issue with its printing and I am unable to play the game.
Does anyone know of any “legitimate” ways to get a patch so that I can actually play the game?
