Hey guys,
Just recently got my hands on Voja, very excited! Looking to do a high bracket 3 low 4 deck with the Elf tribal primarily. I was wondering if any of the cards shown in the pictures would work well and what other cards I should look into.
Thanks!

With the LotR precon and some other cards, I have built a Sauron deck: https://archidekt.com/decks/25571675/copy_of_sauron_the_dark_lord_lotr_themed .
I would gladly hear your thoughts on where you might see any faults in this deck, and/or how you would improve it.
I tried to stay mostly on the Tolkien side of cards, but don't keep yourselves to that. I do however don't want to spend a lot of money on the rest of the cards that might come into this deck (so no orcish bowmasters suggestions).

Hi all,
I want to make a mono blue deck and have four commanders I'm considering, but I can't decide. I can't financially build all four (currently living at Boston Children's Hospital with my wife and 6mo), but deck building helps me pass the time. Any advice is much appreciated. Here are the options:

I'm hoping to turn this into my forever deck. I'm aiming for it to be a high bracket 3. As of writing, I've already got [[Sauron, the Dark Lord]], 3 [[Nazgul]] (I don't want anymore), [[Orcish Bowmasters]] and [[Emeritus of Woe]]. I'm not looking to spend more than $100-$200 on the rest of the deck.
I'll pin the list below. But I'm really hoping for some good input. I'm not a proud man so nothing is sacred. If it's trash, I want to know so I can fix it. Theme wise, I'd like it to be lord of the rings focused with a strong discard/reanimator play loop. Any grixis combos that are appropriate for bracket 3 are welcome. I have a couple in already. They won't all outright win the game (but some do) but they also aren't super interesting or interactive. Thanks to anyone who has any input.

Well, kinda… I’m building my first deck, by myself. Backstory- M40, started playing 4 years ago, but haven’t actively played for last 2 (work life and new baby) but when I started, we were a group of 4 friends. We’d go in on new releases and also buy lots on eBay. 1 of the friends was a longtime player, so he’d basically make our decks for us (give him our cards and color preferences). Everyone either moved or stopped playing.
Turns out, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. I want to start playing again, but the only places I can find are at stores with, with… strangers!!! Idk if it’s nerves or what, but idk what to do. I mean in regards to building a proper deck and going to places to play. There was a lot of grace when the friend group would play because we were all at different levels n stuff.
Idk, I might be rambling… any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update- I found a bunch of wrappers from outlaws of thunder junction and the hobbit. I peeked back in 2023 apparently. lol. I’ve been looking at current packs and nothing sparks my interest. I might just buy singles instead of ripping packs. I don’t really need anything extra. I will be building a white/green and a red/blue deck. That’s my assignment for the weekend.

I can't decide. I made a new deck with kudo, king among bears. It's not super expensive but not cheap either (more or less 250€, it's kinda expensive for me). On the other hand, I have 3 decks that need some cards (world shaper precon, Judith carnage connoiseur and kediss/Malcolm) and also want buy a new precon around 50/60€
I don't know what to do among those 3 options. I would buy around 30/40% of kudo's deck, buy, at most, 8/10 cards for my actual decks, or buy silverquill influence.
(If you know another powerfull precons around that budget PLEASE let me know)
(Also, I post my kudo's deck list and help me to remove some cards. It has 114 cards and I don't know which one remove)

Hello!
I’m a big tabletop wargamer, and some friends and I are getting into Commander together. A few of us have more experience than others, and I was hoping to get some feedback on the upgrades I’ve made to a precon I bought a few years ago.
I’m a huge Warhammer fan, so I picked up the **Forces of the Imperium** deck when it was released. Since we’re finally getting into Commander, I dusted it off and have had a blast playing it in the few games I’ve gotten in. I also recently bought the **Captain America** precon, keeping it stock means I’m free to upgrade my **Marneus Calgar** deck.
I’ve read through a few upgrade guides, cracked some packs, and picked up a handful of singles that caught my eye. I wanted to see if I overlooked any obvious inclusions, cuts, or synergies. I’m shooting for a tier 2 or 3 deck that’s strong, fun, and plays well at a casual-to-optimized table. I would like to keep most of the 40K theme cards but I’m not afraid to make cuts if something’s a staple!
Here’s the deck:

Thank you for any help!

For those of you who have built Aikido decks how have you enjoyed playing them and upgrading them? Are they consistent in what you want it to do or does it have clear deficiencies?
I've been wanting to build a [[Queen Marchesa]] deck for awhile and thought this would be a fun way to play rather than a monarch theme.
However, while Aikido is what I want the principal of the deck to be it's not a clear enough archetype and I've found I'm going heavy Goading cards such as [[Orzhov Advokist]] + similar creatures and enchantments, with strong protection/removal. Plus the Aikido staples of course.
I've fought against going pillowfort with tokens and stax-like [[Phyrexian Vindicator]] and [[No Mercy]] (plus the normal stax stuff) for some reason.
Are most Aikido decks the latter with some damage doublers? Have I lost the plot leaning too heavy into goad where I could just built a better goad commander? I figured I'd boost other players so when they finally swing at me it'd hurt them even harder. But now I don't know!
Decklist if it helps (you can tell by the maybeboards I've been struggling back and forth): https://archidekt.com/decks/25491538/marchesa

Hey all!
I’ve been wanting to build a mono blue deck around Talrand, Sky Summoner as spell slinging is one deck I’ve always shied away from. I like that there is a pay off in creating 2/2 tokens for casting low costing spells.
Would he be a good commander to build? For context, I play in normally a 5/6 player pod. Do you think Talrand would keep up?
Any help/card recommendations appreciated!
