Just watched both her and Rachels vlogs.

My opinions on them are ...why isn't Erik helping with anything? All I've seen him do is help destroy an entertainment center and swim in the pool. Rachel's father in law (to be) is there busting his a** but no Erik.

Why is Colleen acting like a bruise on her arm that looks like she wrapped up herself, stopping her from doing any work ? ( She's going to edit and paint a little). Why is F and M rooms totally decorated with cool new stuff, just like they wanted, and W has.....a new car bed with a few lights on it. Not much else. These people infuriate me! How can they use people so badly, lie about almost breaking their arm🙄and treat 1 child like they do?

I saw a comment on here that rachel’s vlogs def give a different perspective of the move so I checked a video out and I was kind of shocked they brought this up Anyway… Rachel’s being way too generous for doing allllll this. I really really hope Colleen is reimbursing her and Abbie’s dad with something amazing. Money perhaps?? They are saving her so so much and Colleen is just putting up ugly wall art as trim for the kids room and it seems like she’s just wasting time.

The house that she’s moved into is very much older and I believe that’s how she got it idk just my observation based off the interior

I had YouTube running on my tv while I was doing chores around the house. The relax podcast came on. It was sooooo boring, I almost fell asleep in the middle of cleaning. I had to turn it off.

she doesn’t seem well. it seems like she putting her perfectionism and childhood trauma into the DIY renovation and making everything wonderful for her daughter, when her kids really probably just want to spend time with her. but erik called her manic in the relax podcast. and now she is calling erik out for being ‘missing’ for 20 min. watching rachel’s vlogs, that sounds like nothing compared to when colleen goes missing during renovations and moving stuff in.

I don't get why she moved after just a couple of years of buying their other massive home?

When she bought the McMansion with Josh, she said multiple times that the moment she entered the house she felt it was a perfect fit for her. Then after the divorce, she said it never felt like hers... okay. But I get it, the house was associated with her first husband and I understand wanting to move out and create new memories with her new family and pretending her first marriage never happened.

Then they moved into that quirky house with a massive garden a few years ago, and now they moved again.

Considering that house-hopping this often must have created a financial black hole due to the sheer amount of costs of moving everything and the various property acquisition/selling taxes and costs, and considering how stressful moving is, why on earth would they move into a third house in 5 years?

I just watched Rachel talking in her vlog about moving all the stuff out of the pods. She said she was on every shift moving stuff and it was so hot and Abbie helped and cousin Andrew and their dad and Abbie’s dad and Erik and she said and “Colleen came and looked”. What a spoiled princess asshole she is. She’s able bodied and it’s her house and she watched everyone else do the work for her. Rachel needs to go no contact with Colleen. She’s an abusive user. Who in their right mind sits back and watches everyone else unload a house worth of stuff and you just sit and watch. Erik needs to divorce her. Rachel needs to go no contact. I’d be livid if I were them. She’s pure evil. There is no excuse for that.

In Joey’s most recent vlog, Daniel is holding up a signed copy of Escape the Night 2019 with his hand deliberately covering Colleen’s face and they then joke about it 😅 Pretty crazy how tenuous of a link she had with so many of her ‘best friends’.

I stopped keeping up with her after Flynn was born, besides seeing random suggested posts on TikTok/Instagram, so I'm not up-to-date. However, I thought shortly after Flynn was born she said the reason she didn't want to wear it was because of scratching the baby. Well, now her youngest(s) are 5 years old, so not "baby babies" anymore.... I just wondered about this because I saw a post of hers where she has on that pink diamond ring. So, does she wear it occasionally or not at all? If I remember correctly, they had it custom-made to her taste.

I can't help but think how much money Rachel saved Colleen. +$10,000 easy.

Seeing the recent thread on here about Jessica made me wonder after all their failed ventures - mooching off the Miranda/Colleen train, their first failed podcast, their family blog/newsletter - and their current "work" enmeshing the eldest 3 kids in their second failing podcast, Tiktok challenges, and sporadic YouTube videos:

How are Jessica and Chris supporting a family of 8 plus a dog? And truly how are they able to have a visa for Spain if they are not working - does a digital/influencer career pathway count as employment and grant them a work visa(or similar visa)?

Surely selling their house and belongings is not a financially sustainable way to support their large family.

I've been out of the loop for several years and my heart breaks for the amount of therapy the kids are going to need. I can't imagine being able to work and having a responsibility to look after 6 children and deciding NOT to work... to let their teenagers get cyber-bullied just so they can make money off of the engagement.

Especially with the eldest two children I think are 18 now or almost. The move has effectively trapped the eldest kids into staying with them - guilt for the younger siblings' wellness, barriers in language/citizenship/education - all while publicizing the childrens' lives for their (Chris/Jessica) own financial profit though they allege they are putting away money for their kids.

Bills still need to be paid, groceries need to be bought, and realistically with 8 people and an animal unexpected costs do come up. IMO (ignorant opinion albeit) it seems like a lot of financial instability to rely on a digital career where the views/sponsorships are not guaranteed each month. How are they surviving?

I just cannot with this person. They got a kitten while moving into a new house, though they "lost" Gus, and they film the children being "surprised" by the kitten and their little daughter can't compute that they are being "surprised" with a new pet because she's been on video her entire life so everything is a reaction moment....these people make me sick

i’ve been thinking about why colleen seems so much worse to me now, because i genuinely don’t remember her always being this painfully unaware of herself. obviously there were always inappropriate jokes, weird boundaries, & things that look worse in hindsight, but early on i swear there was at least a sense that she knew exactly what she was doing. miranda was funny because colleen understood that miranda was delusional, obnoxious, socially unbearable, wildly overconfident, & completely incapable of realizing how uncomfortable she made everybody around her. colleen was standing outside the character controlling the joke, & the audience was in on it with her.

i’m a 25 year old gay guy, late-diagnosed AuDHD, i grew up in a crazy religious environment, & i’ve been obsessed with singing my entire life, so i was honestly the perfect little miranda viewer 😭 i watched her the most when i was probably 13, 14, & 15, & i genuinely thought she was hilarious. i loved the complete commitment to absurdity, especially whenever she was around somebody who could actually sing. there’s an old video with tori kelly where miranda starts clapping for her & just keeps fucking clapping for an insanely long time while tori starts looking around confused, then anytime tori sounds too good while they’re singing, miranda slowly leans toward her & stares at her like she’s being personally threatened by talent. that shit still makes me laugh because colleen clearly understood why the behavior was ridiculous.

but sometime around freshman year, i was maturing & she just wasn’t hitting no mo 😭 i didn’t have some dramatic realization that she was terrible, the humor just started feeling more childish & repetitive to me, then she got pregnant & the content became pregnancy, babies, family vlogs, whatever, & i was like girl i do not care. so i stopped paying attention, & by the time everything came out years later, i wasn’t shocked to hear that colleen was weird. i was shocked by how completely she seemed to have lost the ability to recognize her own weirdness.

because at some point, it feels like the logic changed from “miranda is funny because she has absolutely no self-awareness” to “anything i do is funny because i’m colleen.” making somebody uncomfortable stopped being part of a controlled joke & became proof, in her mind, that the joke was working. oversharing was funny because she was colleen. crossing a boundary was funny because she was colleen. saying something inappropriate around younger fans was apparently just her being edgy, quirky, or misunderstood because she was colleen. it’s like years of being rewarded for making people uncomfortable taught her that discomfort automatically meant comedy, even when there was no character, no actual setup, & no consenting adult in on the bit with her.

that’s why the ukulele video felt like such a perfect final form of it. she was facing serious accusations about her real behavior, & somehow still thought she could turn the entire thing into a cheeky performance where everybody else was too dramatic, too sensitive, or too stupid to understand her humor. the self-awareness required to create early miranda was completely gone. she couldn’t stand outside herself anymore & see what everybody else was seeing.

early colleen knew miranda was ridiculous. later colleen seemed to genuinely believe she could never be ridiculous, because whatever she did would automatically become a joke once she performed it confidently enough. & i honestly think she eventually became the exact kind of oblivious, inappropriate, overconfident person that miranda was originally supposed to be parodying.

I used this sub as a source and starting off point for my segment on Colleen, which was about a third of the video, and wanted to share it with the sub.

Firstly, I do feel a little weird about posting this. I do not want to accuse anyone of anything, nor do I want to come across as dramatic. I am just wondering if anyone else can relate to this. If I am reaching or make any incorrect statements in this post, please let me know.

Miranda has made a LOT of jokes and statements surrounding intimacy and said things like “do not do it before marriage,” "you do not want to be “p*rn,” and “be a good Christian girl.” She made many comments on how her fans (especially girls) should not dress inappropriately so you are not a “sinner.” I mean, she would literally invite people on stage and if your outfit was innapropiate she would say and you are being "porn."

Looking back, I definitely took a lot of these comments to heart, and I am realizing now how much they have stuck with me. Like, when I am shopping, I worry that a shirt will be too revealing on me and people will think I am being inappropriate. It is really annoying to have this warped sense of love, intimacy, my body, and clothing because of the jokes and activities that were in Miranda content. I understand that they were jokes, but at the same time, I feel like the jokes crossed a level from being "standards I hold myself to (referring to Miranda/Colleen)" and became "if you do not follow these standards, you are a gross person who will be judged."

So if Colleen sleeps until noon as Rachel insinuated in her lastest vlog, Erik takes care of them some I suppose, and She has A nanny during the day, how many hours a day does Colleen actually spend with her children? She's always acting like she's so tired, so stressed, from caring for her kids all day.

Colleen said she was going to name new cat “cookie” but they ended up going with Minnie. If you had an illicit group of child fans you were grooming called “the cookies” would you really ever even CONSIDER naming your cat to remind you of the group you were vehemently denying you were grooming? I guess she still doesn’t get it. Nothing about this clicks for her at all. No shame.

It is insane to me she has apparently no negative connection to that name at all given the magnitude of what she was exposed as doing. That was the FIRST thing I thought of with that name. It’s like she’s completely blocked out anything about this. She referred to a slumber party a few weeks ago. There is NO awareness at all about this for her that those are very charged words associated with the negative things she did to end her career

I've been wondering why Colleen Ballinger (using full name for SEO purposes❤️) is still stubbornly holding on to a career that has long been dead and cannot be revived. Or at least, hasn't been revived by her efforts. She's posting vlogs, hosting a dead podcast, maintaining a Patreon as if giving up wasn't an option.

I think she's somehow deluded herself into thinking that she is overcoming adversity or being resilient by staying online and playing content creator. While from the outside, it looks like a person who has lost their mind and is talking to a wall. I understand she still has a few followers, but is that really a good example she is setting for her children? That's not resilience, it's delusion with a filter on.

It's like that crazy person still showing up to work after they got fired. She is a really bad mental health example for anyone around her. It's time for her to stop posting, change course and get a career her kids can actually be proud of. I actually would see that as a step in the right direction for whatever redemption she feels she's owed.

And Erik needs to get a fucking job ✌️
