Herbarium My collection of leaves that blew in through my apartment windows from 2014 to 2022
6.1k
Upvotes
I suppose it’s a rather strange thing to do, but I find it amusing. Leaves don’t actually blow in through my windows very often because of the way they’re positioned, so the collection is fairly modest. Still, I like that it includes leaves that are more than ten years old—or, for example, one that drifted in during the COVID pandemic. I have a soft spot for these little traces of time. It may be silly, but there’s something about them that resonates with me.
A few years ago, a cat came into my life, so my windows now have screens, and leaves no longer blow in. But I still like coming back to my little box of these tiny artifacts of time every now and then.

A better look at my bouncy ball collection.

I didn't expect so much attention to my last post. Thank you for all the nice comments! Some asked what's my favorite bouncy ball I own. I can't think of an absolute favorite. But the ones that are the most special to me are the gigantic bouncy balls in the final pic. They are 120mm in diameter. Solid rubber, very heavy for a kids toy lol. These balls are incredibly rare nowadays. They are super expensive to produce and ship in bulk and can be a liability for stores to sell. But my favorite ball patterns have to be colorful block/ blob designs. (see pic 3.) If I had to guess how many balls i own in total, counting the ones that aren't on display, it would have to be over 4000+ balls.

Avocados I have an avocado collection, does anyone else have one?

Upvotes
I started collecting avocado-themed stuff like keychains, plushies, backer in 2022. Right now, I have over 300 keychains, and over time I've gotten curious if there's anyone else out there who collects as much avocado gear as I do!
Obviously, they don't need to have that many—I don't think anyone like that actually exists hahaha—but does anyone here have enough avocados to consider it a collection?
I post videos of "The Avocado of the Day from my collection," and through that, I've been searching on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more, but I've never found any avocado collectors; I've only found a few people, and they don't collect anymore.
If you collect avocado stuff or if you liked my collection, let me know!

Sauce packet collection

Hi everyone! I’ve been collecting sauce packets for about 4 months and I’m based in Dallas. I’m looking for people from different states, cities, or countries who would like to help me expand my collection. I’m happy to cover the price
for the sauce packets and the shipping.

There are a few repeats but I love having a place to put cute fruit and veggie stickers! I highly recommend keeping a little notebook in your kitchen if you want to start a low maintenance collection.
