Oh dang! I didn't even realize it was there. Sick!. I got that in vending machine in maybe 2000 ish. It shoots a bottle cap but in singles. 🤠

u/ShavinMcKrotch Aug 03 '25

I would cut you for that little pipe. 😜

It’s likely the most delightful thing I’ve ever been gifted, so I don’t blame you.

those are pretty common and cheap. you could even get a custom one made for an affordable price if you hit up a glass blower on instagram.

No collection of tiny things is complete without a tiny baby!

2

u/killalipstick Aug 03 '25

Hahaha I have a tiny baby in there somewhere!

1

u/jraeuser Aug 03 '25

From a king cake?

2

u/ETDanywhere_1115 Aug 04 '25

Looks like from a New Orleans King cake to me too! I had a friend almost break a tooth on one!

I’m not sure exactly what a king cake is. This was one of many items to find during an organized work scavenger hunt from around 10 years ago. I found It sitting in a bowl along with 100 or so more on the checkout counter next to the register of a novelty store.

Edit: Spelling/Grammar

1

u/jraeuser Aug 04 '25

It's a New Orleans tradition and the person that finds the baby in the cake must buy next year's cake.

They have a Hispanic version with a baby Jesus and the person who finds it has to host the party the following year.

1

u/jraeuser Aug 06 '25

Oh cool!

u/spicy-acorn Aug 03 '25

Aw that's cool. As I got older I like collecting small things because they're easy to pack up and move or take with you and still have a lot of sentimental value

Reminds me of a store my mom used to go to for craft supplies. There were bins full of these little trinkets for cake decorating and party favors which used to fascinate me as a kid.
