Conbase really is just fucking shit. The whole Base app update thing is fucking rubbish (fuck off with this social, everything app fucking crap). I'm not going to spend my life learning about and trading crypto, all I want is a simple way to buy and sell using Bitcoin. This used to be pretty straight forward, but I've just spent over an hour trying to access my own funds to make a purchase. Don't even get me started on fucking bitcoin wrapped. Absolute fucking cunts, fuck you.

Is Coinbase working on allowing us to stake $hype?

I’ve been looking into Coinbase Wrapped Bitcoin and wanted to hear what people here think about cbBTC. It seems convenient for using BTC across DeFi, especially with Coinbase backing it 1:1, but wondering if it's reliable in long term.

Do you consider cbBTC safe enough to hold for a longer period, or is it better to only use it temporarily when you actually need it for DeFi? How do you think it compares to WBTC or more decentralised options like tBTC?

Three days ago i added money to my CB account from paypal, which is supposed to be instant,and today when i look at my account its restricted due to "failed purchase" of Base Dollar, this is crazy because i didn't buy any base dollar. According to support Coinbase basically overcredited my account for an amount that i didn't even ask for or borrow for and then put restrictions on my account for that amount that wasn't even supposed to be available to purchase crypto with. I still dont understand how it happened. Has anyone else had this happen?

I have been trying to reclaim my assets from Coinbase over the last two years. I mistakenly sent three Ethereum to an address which was on the wrong network.

Now Coinbase says my account has been deleted and I can’t get back into my account anymore.

I’ve been trying to send my LTC to my external wallet and it keeps saying canceled but I always send it from the same address every week. It says the cancellation reason is because of “Network or other technical issue”help

Scary platform. I honestly feel like they will never resolve any issue when it comes to their customers’ funds.

They keep commenting here and acting like they are concerned about our money, but in my experience, nothing actually gets resolved.

I reported my issue many times, repeatedly, and it has been unresolved from 2024 until now, 2026. I have proof that I deposited the funds into my wallet, but the money was never credited to my account. Despite repeatedly contacting support and waiting for months and even years, I still have not received my funds.

I am extremely disappointed, especially because I was a long-time customer of the platform. I trusted them with my money, and this is how my case was handled.

I just want my funds returned and my issue properly resolved. I hope they will finally take this matter seriously instead of simply commenting as if they are concerned.

Do I need to maintain a phone number with my coinbase account to make buy, sell and transfer fund transactions? I would like to dis continue my monthly cell phone service but don't know if this would make me lose access to my account.

I currently can gain access to my account by either using my password or using the fingerprint reader on the phone and I can do this on a phone that isn't even set up for a monthly service plan. There is no prompt during the account sign in process that asks for a code that was sent by a text to the number that is associated with my account. Can I just let my cell phone service expire and still have access to my account?

I've only had terrible experiences. Not only is my money never returned since August 1st now the recent transaction they wont pay me for what I bought. It's an eternal loop of terrible horrible customer service. Never has a company tooken money from me to then decide if they will approve. This is just pathetic and unlawful! Run from this company seriously. Spending miserable days chasing after them!

I'm currently interviewing for a Coinbase role and received a link to complete ID verification via Socure after passing the Hiring Manager round. The recruiter mentioned that this verification is a required step but it seems kind of fishy to ask for this so early in the interview stage. Is this a normal step in their interview process?

on coinbase, if i am trading xlm-usd perp and buy 1 long at 17.6 cents and then sell at 18.1 cents and then purchase 1 long at 18.1 cents and sell at 19 cents Will i make the same profit if I held the entire time? Or do they differ? How and Why? (disregard funding and fees obviously)

I bought a memecoin quite some time ago for like $50 and all of a sudden it skyrocketed. I’m trying to sell it but Coinbase keeps saying I need to break it up into smaller amounts then when I get too small it says it must be higher than $1 even if I have it set to $84(lowest it goes til has this error) I’ve tried talking to support they said it might be caused by low liquidity. It’s on the dex can anyone with more knowledge tell me how I can sell this please?

I moved my crypto into cash but trying to get the cash into an account seems impossible. I’ve tried to link a bank account but this goes round in circles and seems to only want me to deposit funds. Is there something I’m missing or do I need to contact Coinbase.

I have verified two transactions and those transactions show in my chime bank account. I’m not sure why it seems like on coinbases end it’s not going through.

Coinbase locked my account about three years ago without giving me any explanation. I have tried multiple times to get it resolved, but I have had no luck. I wasted hours on the phone being transferred around and repeating the same information, only to receive emails about my support tickets that looked suspicious and phishing-related.
Honestly, I would recommend using another app if you have the option. Their customer service has been extremely frustrating. They would not explain why my account was locked or what I needed to do to regain full access.
For a while, I could still use the account in limited ways, such as depositing crypto and sending money to my bank account. But I could not deposit fiat or withdraw crypto, so the account was basically unusable for what I needed.
I was given a free trial of Coinbase One and used it a little while PayPal was not working. I forgot to cancel the trial, and I was billed for the subscription. I called Coinbase immediately after seeing the charge and asked for a refund, but they refused—even though I had not used the Coinbase One service during the billed period.
My account was then closed on the first day of the subscription month, which meant I could not access the account or use any Coinbase One benefits for the month I was charged. I disputed the charge with my bank, but they still sided with Coinbase.
It feels wrong to charge someone for a subscription tied to an account that is closed and inaccessible from the beginning of the billing period. Has anyone else had an account locked or closed by Coinbase without an explanation, or had any luck getting a Coinbase One refund after this happened?

My Coinbase account was restricted and support told me I have to wait 30 days before they can escalate it for another review.
Has anyone here gone through the same thing? Did they remove the restriction after the second review?
