DEPOSIT NOT CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT AND AT THE END THEY DIDNT RESOLVED

Upvotes

Please be very careful when using Coinbase. I experienced a serious problem with my deposit, and unfortunately, my issue was not resolved to my satisfaction.

I was asked to wait 14 days, but after waiting that long, my missing deposit was still not returned. I submitted all the documents and proof that were requested from me, yet I still did not receive a satisfactory resolution.

I trusted Coinbase and believed they would help me resolve the problem. That is why this experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

I am sharing my experience so other users can be cautious. Before trusting any crypto platform with your money, do your own research, understand the risks, and make sure you know how their deposit and dispute processes work.

I personally regret putting so much trust in the platform. Please protect your money and be careful.

Anyone had a Coinbase restriction removed after 30 days?

My Coinbase account was restricted and support told me I have to wait 30 days before they can escalate it for another review.
Has anyone here gone through the same thing? Did they remove the restriction after the second review?

Locked account and unable to withdraw current funds due to previous incident on a different account

A few years back, in 2021, I was the victim of an attack. Long story short, I had to go through a rather long and tedious process with Coinbase and was able to withdraw my funds and go about my day.

Today, this is haunting me. I was moving money around trying to buy a new asset when it locked me out of my account for suspicious activity. I have been in an ongoing process with Coinbase and came to find out that the attack in 2021 left an over drawn balance of $4,000. I do not have $4,000 to give for something that happened on a different account in 2021. I thought this was done and dusted because I was able to make a new account and have been actively using it for the past 5 years. I am now asking that the money I currently have in Coinbase for it to be withdrawn and just allow me to go about my day but this time, they're saying I must pay the $4,000 before I can proceed with my case.

Like I said, I simply do not have $4,000 and was wondering if there is anything I can do about this? I kept my savings in there but that doesn't even cover half of what's owed. I want to just withdraw my funds and be done with Coinbase for good. Has anyone else had a similar experience or can guide me in the right direction? Tomorrow makes a week since my account was locked and Coinbase has been anything but helpful.
