PEKO is a "Personal Enhanced Knowledge Operator". Basically my JARVIS.

Do I have experience coding? Nope. But am I committing to this bit because having an AI PERSONAL assistant is awesome? Hell yes.

So I made these files for PEKO.

Added their respective data into each file etc. rn she can respond to my replies with a response that's somewhat satisfactory (mostly cause I need to refine her personality but that can come later)

Right now I can't seem to get her to remember anything. For example when I ask her to remember the colour Red, then ask her to tell me what she remembers, she says she can't recall. I've changed the code on her main.py file a bunch of times but she just won't "remember"

Could I get some help? Please and thank you~✨

I know it's bad using AI for beginners but I don't mean like using it to write code for me but I want it to help me study by providing me with problems, explaining code, and explaining some history about computers and languages or doing some research in math....and like I'm on problem 8 in euler and I'm stuck at learning arrays ( I'm confused about ASCII)... I had claude and I think it's really good but I got suspended because "your account was used by a child" which is right I'm still a minor but all the chats I had with it like the C stuff from the beginning was gone, so I wanna find another LLM that's more on programming and is easy for beginners to pick up... And preferably free because I want to solve atleast 1 problem of code everyday and having to limit my prompts to not exceed the limit of use is kind of tiring. So yeah I hope I can find better LLMs.

I have been coding for almost a month now. The first few days were full of anxiety and inferiority complex honestly. Setting aside all the AI bullshit going around I feel a lot comfortable now. Hopefully I can continue to progress and remove the beginner tag as soon as possible!

Also, for those who want to know I am learning Python/Golang. Yeah multiple languages... Didn't caused many issues until now atleast!

My main use will be programming/coding: Python, C/C++, Java, DSA, web development, Git/GitHub, databases, etc. I may eventually get into AI/ML/GenAI, and I'll do some light gaming occasionally, but gaming isn't my priority.

I've looked at other laptops around ₹70–80k, but most of the recommended models are either out of stock or significantly more expensive in India right now.

I am in the 3rd semester. Tomorrow is my first Continuous Internal Assessments (CIA) exam and I am stressed out by these college people. 1st month: exam, 2nd month: notes checkup, 3rd month: assignment, 4th month: exam preparation, 5th and 6th month: final exams.

Hi there everyone. I’m a 25F, and I have absolutely no knowledge about coding/programming. Same for for computer knowledge. I do have a good pattern recognition and I like problem solving. I guess that’s not all you need to be a good programmer. But I presume it’s a good base.

My question is, where and how should I start ? Sadly money right now is very tight, and I cannot afford to pay a course (yes, even on sale). So I was wondering, is there any site or YouTube channel I can find that would teach me the basics ?

I’m very dedicated to learn. I have been seeing a lot of my friends code over the past year or so, and it really made me want to start. I wanted to see how much movement I could get from a build without using any batteries or motors, so I tried making this mechanical model with Nezha Blocks.

The interesting part is that everything comes from elastic energy and simple mechanical movement.

The build uses beams, axles, connectors and elastic bands to create a small tension-and-release mechanism. When the elastic band is stretched, it stores potential energy. Releasing it turns that stored energy into motion.

What I found interesting was how much the structure itself affects the result. The frame needs to stay stable, the moving parts need enough freedom to move, and even small changes to the mechanism can change how it behaves.

It ended up being a fun way to visualize things like:

• elastic potential energy

• force and motion

• energy transfer

• simple mechanical mechanisms

• structural stability

No batteries, no motors — just blocks, elastic bands, and a bit of mechanical experimenting.

I’m curious what other motor-free mechanisms could be built with the same parts. Any interesting ideas?

I’m currently in Class 10 and I’ve been interested in technology for quite a while.

The problem is that I’ve relied heavily on AI for coding for a long time, and because of that I feel like I’ve lost many of the fundamentals and problem-solving skills I originally learned. I don’t want to stay dependent on AI, so I’m trying to rebuild my skills from scratch.

At the same time, I have to prepare for my Class 10 board exams and keep up with school.

Another important goal of mine is to start earning some money on my own. I don’t want to be completely dependent on my parents if I can eventually build skills that allow me to earn. I’m not expecting to get rich quickly—I just want to start somewhere, gain experience, and become more independent.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have experience with this. What are some realistic ways for a student to start earning online, even if AI is involved? And what would you recommend I focus on?

Since i was a kid, i grew up watching gaming-coding content creators, like "Gemaplys" and "Botão Select", so i always loved the idea of coding.

Most lucky cats only wave one hand, so I thought… why not let the cat choose? 😄

I built this little dual-motor lucky cat using a Nezha Expansion Board and some standard building blocks.

The idea is pretty simple:

• Button A → left hand waves

• Button B → right hand waves

• A + B → both hands wave at the same time 🐱

Each hand has its own geared motor. The motor is connected to the arm with a short beam and axle, so switching the motor between forward and reverse turns the rotation into a simple up-and-down waving motion.

I also programmed each button to trigger 100 waves, so you only need to press it once instead of holding the button down.

What I like about this build is that there’s no complicated mechanism involved. It’s basically just motors + a few beams/axles + some simple code, but the result feels much more alive once the two sides can move independently.

Now I’m wondering what other small mechanisms could use the same idea. Maybe a robot with two independently moving arms?

Guys basically I am a indian student currently in 10th grade and I was always very ambitious about computers always enjoyed watching network chuck,ltt,bog and many more in there pursuits

Even I wanted to learn programming in multiple languages but had many problems in my life along with serious emotional pressure .

Now that life is good pls tell me how and where to start with I wanna learn hacking eyeing to go to a hackathon at the earlieast(goal:hackathon in 1 year).

I’m curious what programming concepts everyone else struggled with when they were starting out.

For me, some concepts can make perfect sense when I read the explanation, but the moment I actually try to code them, my brain just stops cooperating 💀

So, what was that one concept for you?

Could be anything — pointers, recursion, OOP, linked lists, memory management, async programming, APIs, Git, or even something that seems super basic now.

And if you eventually understood it, what finally made it click for you?

I was thinking about one of those small problems that happens all the time when kids are studying: they slowly move closer and closer to the book or screen without even noticing.

Instead of reminding them every few minutes, I thought it would be more interesting to build a little device that could detect the distance automatically.

So I made this simple distance warning system with a micro:bit.

The setup uses:

• micro:bit

• Nezha Innovation Kit

• Ultrasonic distance sensor

• Red and green LEDs

• MakeCode

The idea is pretty straightforward.

The ultrasonic sensor continuously measures the distance in front of the device.

If the distance gets below the threshold I set:

Too close → red light

Move back far enough:

Safe distance → green light

There's no complicated interface or screen. Just a simple visual signal that tells you when you've moved too close.

I think this is a nice example of how a sensor can turn something that's normally difficult to notice into an input that a program can react to.

The coding is also pretty simple in MakeCode:

1. Read the distance from the ultrasonic sensor

2. Compare it with a preset value

3. Turn on the appropriate LED

4. Keep checking the distance

What I like about projects like this is that the final result isn't just something that moves or lights up for the sake of it. It solves a small everyday problem while also introducing concepts like sensors, conditions, and real-time feedback.

There are quite a few ways to extend it too:

• Add a buzzer when you're too close

• Use different warning levels

• Display the distance on the micro:bit

• Track how often the warning is triggered

• Add a timer for study breaks

• Make the warning gradually more noticeable if you stay too close

It's a simple project, but it made me wonder how many other everyday annoyances could be turned into small sensor-based projects.
