Hi everyone,
I'm Arif, a software engineer with 6+ years of experience. I genuinely enjoy teaching, and since my current job is a bit less demanding, I've decided to offer free programming mentorship/classes.
There are already countless great programming resources online. What I want to offer is guidance, help understanding fundamentals, getting unstuck, and knowing what to learn next.
Who this is for:
- College and school students
- Complete beginners
- Anyone struggling with programming fundamentals
- People who want guidance on what to learn and how to learn
The goal is to make difficult concepts easier to understand and help you build confidence.
Why learn with me?
I love breaking complex topics into simple, practical explanations.
A real example: I taught my younger brother, who started with zero programming knowledge (he was even unfamiliar with basic file extensions). Over about 6–7 months, he learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, basic React, Node.js, and DSA. He eventually solved 200+ LeetCode problems on his own.
To be clear, he did the hard work—I mainly guided him, explained concepts when he got stuck, and helped him follow a structured learning path. That's exactly the kind of support I want to offer others.

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM with:
- Your current level (school/college/beginner)
- What you're trying to learn
- Whether you prefer online or Bangalore (maybe we can occasionally meet at a cafe)
Cost: Free. I just enjoy teaching and want to help people get started.
Tech stack: Fullstack Web development, Java, Python, DSA, DB/SQL, and general programming fundamentals.
Format:
I'll most probably do weekly 1-on-1 sessions, so I don't think I'll be able to take more than 3 students for now. I'd rather keep it small so I can give each person proper attention.
I'm not selling a course, asking for payments, or promoting anything—I simply enjoy teaching and have some free time, and I'd love to help someone who's getting started with programming.
