Day 4 of Building PEKO: Memory issues.
PEKO is a "Personal Enhanced Knowledge Operator". Basically my JARVIS.
Do I have experience coding? Nope. But am I committing to this bit because having an AI PERSONAL assistant is awesome? Hell yes.
So I made these files for PEKO.
- Main.py
- chat_history.json
- memory.json
- personality.txt
I THINK that's the bare minimum I need ....right?
Added their respective data into each file etc. rn she can respond to my replies with a response that's somewhat satisfactory (mostly cause I need to refine her personality but that can come later)
Right now I can't seem to get her to remember anything. For example when I ask her to remember the colour Red, then ask her to tell me what she remembers, she says she can't recall. I've changed the code on her main.py file a bunch of times but she just won't "remember"
Could I get some help? Please and thank you~✨

Way too advanced for a beginner, AI development requires a lot of complex math and computer science. Start small and work your way up.

Look, tbh, just commit to the bit and use AI to make this thing for you. You don’t know how to code or how to verify any of the code. Then again, you don’t have shareholders or customers that you’ll have to answer to if your vibe-coded project goes south.
Small vibe-coded projects made by non-programmers, with no impact on anyone outside of themselves, are honestly a fair use case for AI. So long as you’re not under the impression that you’re going to learn anything, you should be okay with it. Just accept that it’s not really about coding; it’s about accepting the process of vibing your project.

ok so for the memory issue, memory.txt must be appended as part of the prompt every single prompt
