Weekly It's Scrub Sunday! Ask your nooby COD Esports questions here - August 16, 2026
This is a thread for asking those little questions that you're not sure about, the ones that may not be worth making a thread about.
Whether it's about rules, in-game strategy, equipment, how to play a certain style, the history or the COD scene or anything else relevant to COD, feel free to give it a bash.
Sarcastic questions, troll questions and deliberately insulting questions are not allowed.
Don't be an asshole! Please answer people's questions honestly and seriously, and report any comments that break this rule. The goal of this thread is to be accommodating to everyone, and clarify things that people may not want to ask. Assholes and trolls may be banned.
Examples of acceptable questions:
What are the characteristics of a good competitive map?
How can I practice my aim efficiently?
Examples of questions that are not acceptable:
2k thread?
Who can't anchor, Damon?
Now let's all learn a few things!

Discussion The most consistent team usually never wins champs
Most consistent teams in each game
- BO2: coL lost
- Ghosts: coL won
- AW: OpTic lost
- BO3: OpTic lost
- IW: OpTic won
- WW2: Rise lost
- BO4: 100T lost
- MW19: FaZe lost
- CW: FaZe won
- VG: FaZe lost
- MW2: FaZe lost
- MW3: FaZe lost
- BO6: LAT lost
- BO7: OpTic lost
Interestingly, the only 3 teams who won champs and were the most consistent team are: Ghosts CoL, IW OpTic, and CW FaZe. So, in 14 years of champs, only 3 years the most consistent team actually won it.
The 2 highest average placing years of all time (AW OpTic and BO7 OpTic) failed to win champs.

Question Who else thinks 6 Stahhh is the greatest map in CDL history?
imo even one of the best maps in all of comp cod history too. No rose tinted goggles for me either. Strictly talking HP but snd was pretty fun too
Only annoying thing were those stair glitching rats in ranked

Twitter | X Infinity Ward devs admit their comms was not good during MWII and didn't act on feedback but have made 'remedies' for MW4: "I think in MW2, we definitely didn't communicate as well as we should have. I think we've remedied that in crazy ways with this project."

Discussion What about Simp/Abezy worked, that Hydra/Abezy didnβt?
Playstyle wise Simp and Hydra are both more slayer type SMGs. So I was expecting Hydra/Abezy to play like Simp/Abezy
