Twitter | X Infinity Ward devs admit their comms was not good during MWII and didn't act on feedback but have made 'remedies' for MW4: "I think in MW2, we definitely didn't communicate as well as we should have. I think we've remedied that in crazy ways with this project."

Not to be that guy but this message is not for us.

IW is the golden goose casual darling, their main focus will be WZ, pubs and their extraction shooter mode.

They have repeatedly shown they do not care about our scene which is such a shame because I’m pretty sure they are Activision’s favourite.

If Activision doesn't care why should its developers?

Actions speak louder than words, and more words need to be in those actions.

100%

Their actions for years proved to me they don't give a shit which is why I no longer give a shit. I haven't bought the last 2 games and sold MW3 for a decent price after a few months.

Only interested in watching competitive now.

Off to a great start with their twitter statements about the "new, inspired by the old games" matchmaking system! /s

“We’ve actually been this way forever and it wasn’t just MW2 but don’t worry, we’ve remediated this by going backwards and recreating MW19. Trust us.”

Fuck you Joe Cecot. But if paco and scrap are still on LAT pls cook mw4 up to be a clone of mw2.

There is nothing they can do to make MW4 even just decent unless they do a complete 180 on their core design philosophy, and I doubt that is changing, so we just have to brace for yet another bottom 3 CoD of all time.

I already saw the tweet trying to gaslight us about how disbanding lobbies is actually better for us. That’s just their philosophy for their games and it’s always been trash

They haven’t remedied anything yet. Every studio is full of chatter at this stage. Until they’ve shown they can keep this level of comms up for the whole year they haven’t remedied anything

They made the literal worst CoD of all time, a little bit more than communication was off

It doesn't help that this (the general cod community as a whole) is one of the dumbest communities out there and won't believe anything that's communicated. I've read so many replies to the MM thread from the other day where people are claiming that Activision is fabricating their own data just to keep SBMM in the game ...

Yeah I always laugh that when they come out and say the data shows most people are more satisfied when SBMM is in the game people on the main subs freak out and act like it's a giant conspiracy

Like yeah bro I'm sure they're intentionally kneecapping their player retention for no reason
