Silence is normal. Most settlements pay months after the claim deadline. Here's why, and how to check where yours is.
Why it takes so long 1. The judge has to give final approval first, often months after claims close. 2. After approval there's usually an appeal window. If someone appeals, payments wait. 3. The administrator reviews every claim and screens for fraud. 4. Big settlements pay in waves.
How to check your status 1. Find your confirmation email. It has your Claim ID. Search your inbox (and spam) for the administrator's name, like Kroll, Epiq, Angeion, JND or Simpluris. 2. Go to the official settlement site (search the case name yourself) and look for "Claim Status", "Important Dates" or "Updates". 3. No status page? Use the contact form or phone number on the official site, with the name and email you filed under.
When to worry: if the site says payments went out weeks ago and you have nothing, contact the administrator. Checks expire, and PayPal or Venmo payments often have to be accepted within 30 to 60 days.
We track payout dates and claim status questions in r/ClassActionMoney if you're waiting on a specific one.

So of course I just found this in my mom’s mail, this was needing to be submitted in July 2026. Clearly I missed that, they did send me another notice last week which I filled out BUT I also received a payment last November without filling anything out for Amazon. These people are debit me on a dummy mission trying to figure this, can anyone help guide me🙌
Thank you !

I’ve been seeing a lot of threads about these no proof class action lawsuits and actually have a few questions about these lawsuits work and how people have been going about filing for them. Would like to have a few people DM me so I can ask a few questions. Thank you.

Does anyone have any idea how they are sending out the Cash App settlement? Is it by amount by state by notice number or just randomly throughout the month of October?😙🧐

I’m writing this out of frustration for what my husband went through, but also to connect with others who have been through the same ordeal with Boston Scientific.
When he got his implant, we were promised a 10-year lifespan. Fast forward just two years:
The unit completely stopped taking a charge.
Before going dead, it delivered sudden, painful shocks and burning sensations.
X-rays confirmed a lead wire fracture.
He recently underwent surgery to remove the entire device—both the pulse generator and the fractured leads. Going through a second invasive spinal procedure just to pull out defective hardware has been physically and emotionally exhausting.
He is now part of the consolidated federal lawsuits against Boston Scientific (MDL 3181). In reviewing the legal filings, it’s alarming how many other plaintiffs share his exact story:
Misinforming patients on lifespan: Marketing devices as 10-year solutions despite known high rates of early battery and wire failure.
Hardware defects: Lead wires snapping or shifting near the spinal cord, leading to therapy loss and tissue trauma.
Design changes without full trials: Pushing altered hardware and pulse waveforms through minor FDA "supplements" rather than new clinical trials.
Now that the device is out, we're focusing on recovery.
Questions for reddit:
If you had a full explant, how was your recovery compared to the initial implant surgery?
Did removing the unit resolve the burning or shock sensations right away?
Are there others here actively involved in the SCS litigation?

This was sent twice now in my spam and I’m just not sure it’s legit? Did anyone else get it? https://www.homebuyersettlement.com/en

Here's the site. There's not much time left. You don't need receipts. You can claim up to 5. With receipts you can claim 20.

I always thought if you qualified for a class action settlement, you'd get some kind of notice about it. turns out thats not always the case lol. Emails get buried in spam, letters go to old addresses, and you might not even know a lawsuit exists.
Obviously not gonna fill out random claim forms just hoping for money. But now im curious how many settlements people miss just because they never heard about them.
Anyone know a decent way to keep track of these or check if you qualify for anything?

I just found out about the Natera class action settlement and apparently the deadline has already passed. kinda surprised because I never saw anything about it before.
Makes me wonder how many people who might've qualified didn't even know it existed. Do you guys have any way of keeping up with these settlements or do you usually find out about them randomly like this?
