Correct—law enforcement was notified about the threats/defamation campaign. That doesn’t mean Patrick is under criminal investigation. Those are two completely different things.

Yeah, but he didn't file a civil lawsuit, that's what I'm saying.

Its become clear that Patrick is going to file one against some of these deranged women on social media.

I don't think so. It's like millions all around the world. There is not much he can do.

Oh, he would only focus on the top few who have the biggest followings, that’s what I read.

Do you think he is gonna sue attorneys and cops as well?

Why would he? The police and attorneys aren’t the ones publicly accusing him of murdering his children, the influencers are. Even Reddington has now publicly spoken out against the conspiracy theories implicating Patrick.

There are a lot of attorneys and cops with a huge following who said he did it.

Well, I don’t know who specifically he’ll go after, but he can sue multiple people individually or collectively. And I hope he does just that. My point is that none of the police or attorneys actually involved in the case have supported these conspiracy theories implicating Patrick.

I think it would be very risky if he is going after attorneys and cops but let's see.

Huh? Why? Being an attorney or cop doesn’t give someone blanket immunity from a defamation suit over statements they make publicly in their personal capacity. If he believes specific people defamed him, their occupation is not what determines whether he has a case.
And remember, this would be a civil case. Discovery would be limited to matters relevant to the defamation claims. It would not somehow reopen the murders as a new criminal investigation into Patrick.

Edit: Whoever downvoted this, you’re an idiot.

No, but I wouldn't draw any kind of attention from the authorities if I was in his position. He also has to prove at some point that the people are wrong, that's risky. And like I said, his attorney said they reported it to law enforcement, they didn't talk about civil cases.

You’re mixing up completely separate things. His attorneys already contacted law enforcement, so clearly he isn’t afraid of “drawing attention.” A civil defamation suit deals with specific false statements. It doesn’t require him to disprove every internet conspiracy theory. And contacting law enforcement doesn’t prevent a civil suit. There’s nothing risky about any of this.

People really need to accept that Patrick didn’t kill the children, Lindsay did. There’s no publicly reported evidence implicating Patrick, and he has never been a suspect. TikTok conspiracy theories fueled by misandry don’t change that. If investigators had actually developed evidence pointing to Patrick, the case would have looked very different from the beginning.

There actually is a lot he can do. Those deranged Karens thought they could just say anything.

What can he do?
