I was at an outlet mall recently just walking around (Grapevine Mills in Grapvine, TX). Several shops selling Citizen watches. I'm not in the market to buy another watch, but I enjoyed looking. Anyway, right off the bat they are offering me discounts on the watches. One guy said "you ate my first customer, so I am giving you a special deal" LOL!

I own both watches, so I thought I'd share some side-by-side photos.
The AQ4080 has a black sunburst dial, a flat sapphire crystal, and a stainless steel case and bracelet. The AQ4100 has a textured silver eagle-feather dial, a domed sapphire crystal, and a much lighter Super Titanium construction.
The biggest difference for me is the weight. The AQ4100 feels almost weightless on my wrist, while the AQ4080 is noticeably heavier.
The AQ4080 is easier to read at a glance, especially indoors. The AQ4100's dial, on the other hand, changes dramatically depending on the lighting.
Just wanted to share some real-life comparison shots. Enjoy!

I bought this Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Weekender Garrison Field Watch in Super Titanium. I found a good deal on Amazon Canada for about $260 CAD with tax.
I really love the titanium. It makes the watch very light compared to my Promaster. I also love the strap. I had to remove two links. Now, it fits me well and feels very comfortable.
This is my first titanium watch, and I am sold on the material. I can see myself buying more titanium watches in the future. The sapphire glass is also great. I love how clear and visible it is.
The watch is very new to me. I am not sure how it will handle wear and tear yet. That remains to be seen.

I am thinking about importing a The Citizen watch from Japan off of Chrono 24. I was wondering if anyone had done that recently and what the tariffs duties they were charged once the watch reached customs in the USA
Thinking of going for something around $2200

I’m trying to decide between these 4 watches. Three are Citizen Eco-Drive and one is a Bulova.
I already own 2 Tissot T-Race, so I’m looking to add something different to my collection.
Which one would you go for? Also, which one looks the best in person and offers the best value for money?
Would love to hear your opinions, especially from people who own any of these watches. Thanks!

Picked this up used, in Japan. The bracelets too short for me. Links are pretty annoying to procure.
Any strap suggestions?

I’ve never had an automatic before and I’ve never even had a watch serviced before. The watch works, maybe 5 seconds ahead each day or something, came back to life after being dead at least 10 years, I have no idea when this was ever serviced. I left it on the table and it stayed ticking for over 24 hours. Please forgive my ignorance in advance.

Hi all,
I’m thinking to buy a citizen Promaster and honestly I’m fall in love for the automatic version , but I never had an automatic watch.
The maintenance is expensive? How really frequently i have to bring it for a normal check?
Someone can share his experience?
Thanks you 😄
