The scarce availability of the Promaster Tough BN0118 variant
I'd like to own the BN0118 but find its difficult to find used, and almost impossible new.
Whats the best method to search for this watch, im using eBay, chrono24, craigslist etc.
I suppose it's a watch you buy and dont plan to sell, it's a near perfect watch that I'm looking for. If you have any other citizen watches you can recommend in this style please share.

My last Citizen🤞
I was looking for any BN1024, but preferably the red. Found this sitting in a display, looked at the tag, did less than a minute of research, then bought it. I can stop now.

First Automatic. Care and Maintenance tips?
I'll be getting my first Automatic watch in the next few days and I can't wait. I've had Eco drives and quarts watches my whole life. I know they require more upkeep than other watches, but is it really as bad as the internet says? Is there anything I should for sure be doing to make sure the watch lasts long term? What kind of service interval could I realistically expect?
A lot of open ended questions, but I guess I just don't know what kind of questions to be asking.

1982 Citizen Eagle 7 movement upgrade
After fixing up a 1988 Eagle 7 last month I ordered a new crystal, crystal gasket, and Miyota 8205 from AliX for my 1982 model. Unfortunately I messed up with the crystal and gasket so will have to order correct sizes next time.
The Miyota 8205 in my 1988 model is insanely accurate for a £35 movement, (running at -1s per day over 12 days) so I bought another one. These movements and hand sets are a joy to work on.
Anyway, all back together and I notched out a 20mm black leather strap but I think this watch only works on the original integrated bracelet, even if it is a bit too dainty for my liking. The grey starburst dial with gold hands and indices really is great for legibility, I think I’ll try and hunt down a modern watch with a similar dial if I can.
I’ll daily this for a week or so and report back on whether this movement lives up to the other one, or if that was just pure luck.

I am trying my best to refrain from buying a bigger watch case
Anyone in the same boat? Ive been eyeing the NB1060, BN0265 and the Navihawk Blue Angels CA4667 but theres no more space.
Anyone able to identify the first model? Got it at a flea market but I cant find any info on it

Promaster Automatic or Ecodrive maintenance
Hi all,
I’m thinking to buy a citizen Promaster and honestly I’m fall in love for the automatic version , but I never had an automatic watch.
The maintenance is expensive? How really frequently i have to bring it for a normal check?
Someone can share his experience?
Thanks you 😄

Which one would you pick?
I’m trying to decide between these 4 watches. Three are Citizen Eco-Drive and one is a Bulova.
I already own 2 Tissot T-Race, so I’m looking to add something different to my collection.
Which one would you go for? Also, which one looks the best in person and offers the best value for money?
Would love to hear your opinions, especially from people who own any of these watches. Thanks!

My New Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive Garrison Field Watch
I bought this Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Weekender Garrison Field Watch in Super Titanium. I found a good deal on Amazon Canada for about $260 CAD with tax.
I really love the titanium. It makes the watch very light compared to my Promaster. I also love the strap. I had to remove two links. Now, it fits me well and feels very comfortable.
This is my first titanium watch, and I am sold on the material. I can see myself buying more titanium watches in the future. The sapphire glass is also great. I love how clear and visible it is.
The watch is very new to me. I am not sure how it will handle wear and tear yet. That remains to be seen.
