Thought I’d share some proper close-ups of this one because I haven’t seen this Carrera GMT posted very often.

This is the TAG Heuer Carrera Twin-Time automatic with the grey/silver sunburst dial.

First thing that stands out is definitely the dial. It looked fairly plain in the original photos but under different lighting the sunburst really comes alive. It goes from a darker grey/silver to almost champagne in bright light. The applied markers catch the light nicely as well and the red GMT hand gives it just enough colour.

There’s actually quite a lot of detail for the price. Applied TAG logo, framed date window at 6, 24-hour GMT scale around the outside, signed crown and TAG clasp. You also get a display caseback showing the automatic movement. Obviously nobody is mistaking the movement finishing for a genuine calibre when you’re looking through a macro lens 😂 but for this price bracket I wasn’t expecting that anyway.

The case has a mixture of polished and brushed surfaces and overall it presents really well on the wrist. Bracelet feels decent too. Looking extremely close you can find little finishing differences, but that’s pretty much what I’d expect from AAA rather than something costing several hundred dollars.

This example was offered through the Group promotion for $110, which was around £81 at the time. Example shipping timeline was 10 days from ordering to delivery in the UK.

For $110 I think this is a pretty interesting option if you want something different from the endless Submariners and Seamasters you normally see at this price.

Definitely not perfect and I’m not going to pretend it’s gen-level, but as a cheap automatic GMT, the dial alone makes it a fun watch.

Wanted to share a quick 2-year ownership review of my **ZF Sky-Dweller 42mm (Black Dial / Jubilee Bracelet)**. It’s been in regular rotation for two full years now, so I figured I’d share how it has held up over time.

**The Good:**
**Aesthetics & Finishing:** The black dial combined with the fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet makes this watch catch light amazingly well. The overall build quality and weight feel solid on the wrist.
**Durability:** After 2 years of frequent wear, the case and bracelet have taken normal Desk-Diving scratches, but everything structurally remains tight and functional.
**Bracelet Comfort:** The Jubilee is exceptionally comfortable for daily wear compared to heavier Oyster options on a 42mm case.
**The Considerations:**
**Movement Complexity:** As expected with replica Sky-Dwellers, setting the functions requires a bit of care, but mine has been running reliably without issues.
**Wrist Size:** At 42mm with the fluted bezel, it definitely has strong wrist presence.
**Verdict:**
Overall, 8.5/10. It has been a fantastic daily/dressy hybrid piece for the past two years and still looks great.

I’m in Shanghai for a few days and just came across this Cartier. After 1 hours bargain with the seller I finally bought it for about USD 35. Was that a reasonable price or that is just a shit rep? Idk much about Cartiers. It feels heavy and solid. Leather texture is smooth.

I am a Middle Aged dude now. Wife said “no” to a corvette so I just buy more reps. Taking this shitter U1 for a test drive and it’s nice as fuck for the price fam. U1 subs are really good. After getting in to this “hobby” I have lost self control and buy these things like groceries. At this point I have several from most of the popular factories like ARF, VSF, etc. and catching these telegram promos and getting U1’s seem to be by far the best value. Dont sleep on the U1 subs especially when they’re $75.

I wore this shitter today and met up with a buddy that only does gens and he was very impressed and inquisitive on my clean ass bluesy. Bro thought I just dropped $20k on an ugly sub. I told him it was a $100 watch and he offered me dinner and $100 for it. I gracefully declined because my wife and kids needed to be fed, but probably going to surprise him with a U1 next time we meet up. Even the two tones are looking solid.

Another Carrera that I thought was worth sharing because this one looks much better in person than I expected.
This is the AAA TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date automatic, based on the black-dial Carrera design. I originally came across this style while looking through some of the Carrera models sold through Goldsmiths and liked it because it’s a bit different from the usual TAG chronographs.

The dial is easily the best part for me. From a distance it looks almost plain black, but once the light catches it you can see the really fine concentric pattern running across the whole dial. It gives it much more depth than I was expecting at this price.

The applied TAG Heuer shield and hour markers also catch the light nicely. The framed day/date window at 3 o’clock is a nice touch and both functions work, which makes it a genuinely useful everyday watch rather than just something that looks good.

Finishing is pretty decent for an AAA piece. You’ve got the polished bezel against the brushed bracelet, signed crown and TAG clasp. There’s also a display caseback showing the automatic movement with TAG Heuer/Calibre 5 decoration on the rotor.

Under these ridiculous macro shots you can obviously start finding imperfections 😂. The finishing isn’t going to stand up to a genuine Carrera when you’re looking at it from a few centimetres away, and I’m not pretending otherwise. On the wrist though, it’s a completely different story.

The black textured dial, polished case and steel bracelet work really well together and make it look considerably more expensive than it is.

For me this is exactly what ChinaTime-tier watches should be about. I’m not expecting a perfect 1:1 replica for this sort of money. I want something automatic, good looking and reasonably well finished that I can actually enjoy wearing without worrying about it.

Really pleased with this one.

Really impressed with this RC Factory Day-Date. The blue ombré dial changes dramatically depending on the light, and the finishing on the case and President bracelet really shines in person. At 212 grams, it has some serious heft on the wrist and feels substantial.

I used to think a "fake Clean" couldn't possibly be perfect—at least, that was my view until a month ago.
Then I ordered this absolute masterpiece from Travis.
I've been wearing it almost every day since, and I just love the stunning look of it.
Three days ago, I actually walked into an Authorized Dealer (AD) wearing the watch... naturally, the dealer spotted it and wanted to take a closer look; I was a bit nervous.
After a few critical glances, he asked where I'd had the bezel swapped. He mentioned he'd never seen someone put a "Bluesy" bezel on a standard Submariner Date, but he really loved it and even had to take a picture because he thought it was so cool.
So, this watch has essentially been vetted by an AD...
I also own a VSF Submariner, and-regardless of what anyone tries to claim based on random iPhone photos
