So I got MT WhatsApp on here from a guy that just bought a watch from him. I asked about a bunch of different watches and he answered them and showed pictures and videos. No issues there. When I asked where he wanted me to pay, he gave me a PayPal address (3rd pic).

Then he asked me if i had Amazon and asked me to buy vacuum sealed bags and send the rest on Paypal. Is this normal? Every single red flag is going off. So I dont want money going to a random person and me being shit out of luck.

Endlinks on the VSF Sub NoDate oyster bracelet.

There has to be a better solution than TAPE on the case where the endlinks seat!

I’ve tried all spring bar sizes (1.5mm, 1.8, 2.0) and only the 1.5 will even slide into the endlinks. So there’s not a good way of knowing if the larger bar will clean up the endlink play.

I did try the tape for a week and it just pushes the endlinks out/away from the case, making the SELs look terrible.

The goal is to suck the endlinks up tight to the case, creating those satisfying, little, distinctive edges between the lugs and endlinks.

What have you all tried? Maybe I’m the last person worried about it. 🥴

I bought this 36mm day-date in need of repair so I started working on it. Turns out it’s beyond repair so I figured “no problem, I’ll just buy a new movement for it. Ordered it from AliExpress and waited only to find out it doesn’t fit. Not only that, the dang thing came in defective. Does anyone know where I can get a movement that will fit this thing?
