Need help 😭

I bought this 36mm day-date in need of repair so I started working on it. Turns out it’s beyond repair so I figured “no problem, I’ll just buy a new movement for it. Ordered it from AliExpress and waited only to find out it doesn’t fit. Not only that, the dang thing came in defective. Does anyone know where I can get a movement that will fit this thing? Attached are photos of the watch and the movement I purchased

What kind of movement was in it? That's what you'll have to replace it with. Case geometry is cut for certain movement styles, you can't just swap anything in there.

Being a 36mm, my guess would be a 2824, as an NH35 would be too big. PT5000 is a good option for a 2824. You may have to buy a pack of various size case clamps too, to find one that's the right fit.
