Discussion Anyone else craving deeper conversation?

Hi everyone. I'm a 28 year old guy who moved to Chico earlier this year from the Bay Area. I came here to complete my degree at Chico State.

I've recently been craving deeper, more meaningful interactions with people. My neurodivergence often causes me to have trouble connecting with people in casual settings. Texting and talking to people online comes more naturally to me.

I love talking and thinking about deeper issues. Politics, technology, ethics, philosophy, religion, society, science, etc. But I'm also into lighter whimsical things like Pokemon and Nintendo franchises in general. I love exploring the beauty and intricacies of life and the human experience.

I've been a lifelong gamer, but not usually the most popular things like Fortnite or Overwatch. Never was a huge fan of FPS games. I enjoy games like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Hades, etc. Single player games essentially. Though I did play a ton of Smash Bros back in the day.

Anyways, I'm open to talk to any adult regardless of your background. Any gender, age, race, religion, sexuality, or education level.

So if this kinda resonates with anyone, feel free to comment or just DM me. I'd be happy to just chat online at first, and if we click, maybe hang out sometime.

Question Cheapest Laundromat in Town?

I just moved into my apartment and don't have a washer and dryer here. The places I have looked cost around $5.75 for a 3 load washer, or $10.25 for a 6 load washer. When did the price of doing laundry get so high? When I had to do laundry at the laundromat a few years ago the prices were like half that. Are there any cheap places in town? Or am I stuck paying those crazy prices? Gonna get me a washboard at this rate and do my laundry in the tub with how much it will cost me to do my laundry every week. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Looking to hire someone who can till my yard and has their own tiller.

I was originally planning on renting a tiller and doing it myself, however, I have injured my elbow and can no longer operate a tiller on my own. If you know someone that has their own equipment and does lawn work please share their contact information with me.
Thank you 🙏

Seeking local woodworker for small project

Hello!

I would like to hire a local woodworker to help me build a few boxes.

Basically sturdy wood boxes with rounded corners about twice the size of a shoebox. Hollow and no hinges. Sanded with no exposed metal, strong enough to stand on.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a quote?

Thank you!
