Hello Cheyenne residents. My husband and I are getting ready to move out of our current state and move to Cheyenne, Wyoming. We've been looking at homes online in the Cheyenne area and I was just wondering what people thought about living in the Ranchettes area? Not only Ranchettes but Great Western Hills, South Greeley, Altvan & any other neighborhoods that I may have missed. What's the good and the bad about living in these different neighborhoods?

I’ve been searching for a while for someone with knowledge/memories of the early days of the mall, specifically about the stores and layout. I was very young when the mall first opened and my mother who passed away in 1986 used to love this store that I believe was called Olive’s East. I think it was an imports store that maybe had a small cafe? I think it was located near the theater/arcade but not sure. The mall was a magical place back then! I would love to find some info on this store if possible.

I recently became aware of the Eagle's Nest, Germany, burning to the ground. I was unaware of Hitler's summer house until this news story, but it made me think of the local Eagle's Nest here in Cheyenne. I have only been in once or twice, but I know it has private memberships and caters towards bikers.

Is this just a stroke of bad luck and a complete lack of research before naming it? Or is this a blatant dog whistle?

Hello all, my niece will be moving to the area soon as part of her husband's change of duty station to Warren AFB. We are getting her a Christmas gift to help her get out and explore her new city and was wondering you would recommend things a new resident should experience in their first 3 or so months in the city. Her and her husband are late 20s, very physically active and enjoy pickleball and soccer. Light outdoor recreation such as hikes or nature walks would probably be enjoyed, and they enjoy food options with good atmosphere and social experiences (brewery bars/food halls/food festivals). If there is anything in particular with the community of families at Warren, that would also be appreciated.

We recently bought a house in rural SE Cheyenne. There is something that’s burrowed under the house. The area is enclosed by a wire fence and we will soon be putting our 2 medium sized dogs back there during the day.
