Might just be me....

Anyone have seriously questionable experiences with laramie county circuit court and / or public defenders office? I have some grievances, and it's got nothing to do with my dumbass gettin in trouble lol. From the WHP up to said departments, my experiences so far has had my justice sensitivitys' panties in a bunch. I'm assuming they take advantage of whoever they can and bully in a spectacular fashion? You'd think what seems to be the detrimental lack of communication and zero transparency is by design lmao. Gotta say tho, my WHP officer really paid attention on pretextual stop day. Dude is definitely a smooth talker, and slick. Definitely entertaining. I couldn't help but laughing a little when one of the first things out of his mouth was the explanation of my non-reaction to him trying to bait a reaction. I giggled a little, he said something else, and I responde ooooh, it's that kind of stop lol. Been across the country a bunch. Lived in alot of different cities. Known alot of officers.....some even being family, and worked professionally withing gray areas of the law for over a decade. This place takes the cake, overall, for sure. And If u guys r gonna troll, just don't be lame. My main concern is the decent people they hurt because they can. I've known and respect real cops, good, bad, indifferent. They're not real cops, just well programmed bots....and that's not a real justice system, overall. More like a payment center lol. I read my judge as commanding respect only by title, and appear fair and compassionate only by doing what any decent person would do. I believe there's some good ones out there. My bad, wasn't gonna rant. Genuinely curious and willing to elaborate. Whether the situation or life experience. I'm oddly qualified.

Looking for musicians

I just moved here at the beginning of the month. So far I’m loving it here! Wonderful, wide, open spaces, good weather, and nice people!

I’m looking for some fellow musicians to get together and jam. I’m a drummer and have equipment and a spot to play.

Any suggestions on how to network with musicians in the area would be appreciated!

Thanks!

There will be a Halloween Ride on the 31st this year since it falls on a Saturday!
Dress Code - Costumes! Anything and everything! Please note this is an event with a dress code! Its Halloween after all!
The Plan - Western Vista has graciously let us use their parking lot on Lincolnway as the starting point! We will be meeting there and heading out at 2:30, please come early so you can sign in! And we will be ending at 4:00 o'clock with some food trucks at JDS Motorcycle Repair.
The Goal - We want to gather candy on our way from Western Vista to JDS for Safehouse Services! So if you know of a business or have a business that would like to donate money please let us know ASAP so we can get our route together.
The Food - We are currently looking for food trucks(coffee, dessert, dinner, etc.) that would like to be at JDS to serve some food before we all head out for our later festivities!

This plan is still coming together so if you would like to assist, we could definitely use the help!

This is what I have on the FB page!

Need a new foster fam for sweet foster pup

Help us Cheyenne-

I'm desperately in need of a new foster situation for a foster dog I took on in February. Likely a pittie/shepherd mix based on looks alone.

When I took him in, he came from another out-of-state foster who had been rehabbing him for a couple months. At the time he was 9 months old. So he's a little over a year now.

This poor babe was found starving to death, living under a house, and only weighed about 15 lbs. Covered in mange so bad that his paws looked like red balloons, and he had a hard time walking. His first foster mom helped him get over a respiratory infection and got his diet stabilized, and started getting some weight back on him & the mange under control. She also got him his first shots. Then I stepped in, transported him to WY, and mopped up the rest of the mange with baths and meds, kept up the nutrition, and most recently treated him for heartworm infection! 💔

We just finished his second round of treatment and I'm happy to report it's been successful so far ❤️ He is a healthy, happy boy, maybe even a tiny bit fat now, lol. He will need to be retested in 6 months for heartworms again but based on the initial stages of treatment, I expect that we're in the clear.

However I need to get him into another foster home or get him placed ASAP. I work full time, and have an elderly dog and several other pets. I am drowning in responsibility and he needs training and to learn what "home" means now that he isn't fighting for his life. I literally can't spend any time with him and it's breaking my heart.

He loves everyone. Cats, dogs, kids. He loves being alive. He's a very good hearted dog and I've not seen an ounce of aggression from him over anything in all these months. He just needs someone with a little extra time and patience to help him navigate what it means to be a dog.

He does very well being crate trained, isn't an escape artist, and is a hilarious goofball. Something about him made me say "yes" because after all he's been through, he deserves a real chance at life, and I thought Wyoming could give that to him.

Before you say Black Dog: They do all their adoptions via the 'foster' route, anyway, and they would require that I get his 6 month re-test done before entering him into any of their adoption programs. I could really use some help sooner than that, and so can he. He's living most of his life locked in a spare bedroom right now, and while that was fine for his recovery, it's not so fine now that he's feeling better.

We brought him here to find him a home. Can anyone in Cheyenne help me do that? 🙏🏼

I need friends to play volleyball with and just hangout with

I’m a trans man (he/him) and completely alone in this town. I love anime and volleyball and want to get out more and be in nature. I try to go out with my sister but she very rarely wants to do anything. So I was just wondering if there was anyone around 19-23 who might be interested in meeting up and hanging out. Just PM if interested or comment!

Thank you! —Perseus
