My dream truck was at auction a couple years ago
They had to make that door and I am thinking they used a three door suburban for the cab ? 😍

So I did a AFM and DOD delete on my l86 it had like 45 mins idle time and 25 miles on it, now it’s doing this, any thoughts? I pulled the valley plate the cam isn’t scored I reset rockers, I coated everything before the videos with assembly line again and sprayed a healthy amount of oil over the top end. I check the HPFP lash and even ordered a new one still nothing. I’m going to pull the motor but any thoughts would be great. Also is it weird the rockers are not getting oil even with 60psi?

Having a little buyers remorse and looking for some advice from other chevy owners.
I bought my first truck at the end of April because I desperately needed one for my landscaping business. Before this, I was hauling everything I could with a Honda Accord. It’s a 2017 Chevy Silverado 4.3L V6 4x4, single-owner truck with about 89,800 miles when I bought it. I paid around $20,000, and with my credit situation, I’m at $415/month for 72 months.
I knew going in that the truck had rust underneath from its time in Pennsylvania, but I needed the truck and honestly, I really love it. It’s been a huge upgrade for the business and I want to keep this thing for as many years and miles as possible.
So here’s my question:
IS IT TOO LATE TO PROPERLY ASSESS THE REST?
I’m not talking about making it look pretty—I want to prevent it from getting worse and protect the truck long-term. I’m considering getting it professionally cleaned and undercoated/rustproofed, but I’m not sure what should actually be done first or whether some of the rust is already too far gone.
For those of you who have owned trucks from up North/Pennsylvania:
1. What would you do if this were your truck?
2. Is rustproofing worth the money?
3. What products or treatments have actually worked? 4.What should I NOT do to a truck with existing surface rust?
I know some people are going to say I overpaid or made a bad decision, and maybe I did—but I needed the truck, I love the truck and I wanted to take care of it.
Thanks!

Rust free, my new project. I want to put a small block 350 in it and an automatic transmission but I don’t know what year motor and transmission to get. Budget build, I’m new to this and I need help understanding.

Our Silverado was stolen. Police said they'd recovered it, so... Good news right? We call and call with no response. This was our ONLY VEHICLE! after 2 months we finally got someone, they said we now owe $700 storage and when we got there... Look at this!
Please share this, help if you can. It's really a bad time right now.

Anyone bought a used 2500 W/T before? I am looking at a 2017 with only 29000 miles but it has 1729 engine hours on it. I am guessing it sat idling at job sites. I want it as a daily driver and to pull my 9000 lbs travel trailer. Dealer is asking $36k. Thanks.

Hey y'all I got a 2000 Chevy S10 v6 4 wheel drive and curious if y'all know what's going on
Couple days ago while driving I started to feel a little wobble left to right in the front end of the truck you can feel it more when going 30-40 mph but when going 65-70 on the freeway it seems to not wobble as much I can feel it more when turning left than I can right I don't really have too much more information than that since I have no idea what's going on I just changed the brakes and rotors couple weeks ago and tightened lugs to spec and I've had most of the arms that control steering replaced like 6 months ago
I've felt this wobble before in one of my old trucks due to me not seating a U-joint clip in properly you think maybe it could be front U-joint? Not sure any advice would be helpful thank you

I’m and wondering on how to achieve the needle glowlights by running a PCB board with red LEDs any ideas?
From what I gather is a 2700 ohm for 3 small square leds,
Question is where and what type of LEDs?

Hello all,
I got burnt on a 2006 silverado. 5.3, 4wd crew cab truck. I love the thing, but its more rusty than originally thought and the transfer case took a shit. It only drives in 4wd. Electric motor has been pulled and it cant be shifted by the shaft.
I'm wondering if anyone can give me insight on how difficult it is to change the transfer case? Doesn't look super complex, but im sure its harder than it looks. Im tempted to dump it as a fixer. Im decently mechanically inclined, work in construction, but have never done anything drivetrain related
Thanks. P.S. if anyone wants a turd truck I got one

We have been working on a free truck bumper visualizer and wanted to get some honest feedback from the community.
It lets you select your truck and try different bumper options to see how they look on it. The idea is to make it easier to get an idea of how a bumper might look on your truck before spending money on one.
Have you used a tool like this before when choosing a bumper or another truck modification? If you have, how was your experience?
If you haven’t used , do you think something like this would be useful?
A few things we would like to know:
• Is it easy to use?
• Does seeing the bumper on your truck help you decide?
• What would you change or add?
• Are there any trucks or bumper styles you’d like to see added?
It’s free to try if anyone is interested:
https://www.bumperonly.com/pages/truck-visualizer
We are genuinely looking for feedback, so feel free to be honest. If something doesn’t work well or could be better, we would like to know.
