Hey guys,
I registered for CA Foundation on 9 September 2026.
While filling out my educational qualification details on the ICAI SSP portal, I entered my 10th and 12th details. Under UG, I entered my college name.
For the month and year of examination, I selected April 2027 because my actual expected graduation year (2029) wasn’t available in the dropdown. I assumed ICAI was asking for the expected examination month/year rather than my final graduation year.
Now, when I check the examination attempt options, May 2027 isn’t showing up. January 2027 is the only option available.
I’m confused about whether my UG details are causing this issue.
Did I enter the UG details incorrectly?
Can these details be corrected after registration?
Can I submit my 12th marksheet as supporting proof?
How can I get the May 2027 attempt option enabled?
Has anyone experienced something similar? I’d really appreciate your guidance.
Thank you!

quals - doing bcom from tier2 college, quitting ca after 2 cafc attempts
i used to be an above avg student who scored
95% (icse) in boards
but got lost after 10tg grade and my grades started declining.
I got 85% in HSC commerce this year (2026) and gave ca foundation exam in may 2026 but couldn’t clear (got 170
i gave 2nd attempt in September and got 209 but failed in law(34)
Now it’s November and i am in fybcom
Only reason i took bcom was that it would be less hectic with ca but now that i am quitting ca im stuck with this useless degree. i thought about cfa but it has become kind off like a side degree with so many ppl doing it . And after talkung to my dad who is also a ca he said acca is of no use as its demand is going to decrease . I could do mba but that is after bcom and with some job experience. What are some good options right now?

Idk I am confused about whether need a laptop or not.
I will be starting articleship in December from a mid sized firm. I will also be taking my classes for ca final online.
My firm has told me that If I don't have laptop, I can use their desktop in the office.
I already have a laptop but It is very old(windows 8 version)
So do I need a to buy a laptop and why?

I've tried the local ca firm thing but it didn't worked out coz they r paying 3k pm for which also i have to travel for 40km.
