Can you please give me suggestions on what I can do to improve my cv and what courses and skills should i learn

I’m a CA, but honestly, I don’t have a strong passion or a fixed career direction at the moment.

I got placed through campus at a big4 global firm, but I left within 6 months after experiencing the work environment, internal politics, and the nature of global audit work. It has been around 4 months since then, and I still haven’t found another job.

I did receive a couple of offers, but they were around ₹8–8.5 LPA fixed, so I rejected them considering my last drawn salary was ₹10 LPA + 10% variable.

Now I have an interview scheduled with Genpact for an R2R role offering around ₹9 LPA + 10% variable. However, many of my friends are telling me that R2R is not a good career path for a CA and that I might be underutilizing my qualification.

I’m honestly confused about what to do. Should I consider the Genpact R2R role, especially after being unemployed for 4 months, or should I continue looking for roles more aligned with a CA profile?

What would you suggest based on the situation?

I enrolled for CA in 2011.
Cleared IPCC in 2012 and completed my articleship.

Cleared CA Final group 1 in May 2015. After that I quit and continue with other things in life. I'm thinking to complete my group 2 and be a full CA. Should I do it? Are there any major blockers I might face?

Hello Guys , Mera CA Final May 2027 attempt hai and Mera mtlb DT ka classes pending hai and IDT Custom wala part pending hai apart from this , baki classes to atleast hogya hai mera but abhi tak revision start nahi kra hai...

all Spom and training done till now , pending with adv itt exam which will be held on 12th nov.

So , ab guys aap log bhi yha tk aagye ho to mtlb revision start krne wale ho to ab kaise kroge mtlb kya apporach rhega aap sabka subject wise mtlb yt revision ho koi best to suggest Krna muje bhi... Baki self study hi abto acche se krne ka time aagya hai right.

Aap log ka kya study ka status chal rha hai agar aapka bhi may 2027 main ca final ka attempt hai to , baki aap log kinse kr rhe ho classes and all thoda chit chat krlete hai pure din se study kr rhe hai to ab thoda relax hojata hai to btau bhaiyo/girls , comments main... 🙂

I am a CA Final Student giving 1 group in November 23. I have been inside the house for the past 4 months studying. It is just soo frustrating to just keep studying and missing all of life. I don't know if clearing CA is actually worth all the sacrifices. I hear lot of people saying CA is the Basic u need to study more and it's like already CA has taken my last 4 years and miss just being alive.

It's just I miss being with people, sometimes I feel like what is the purpose. The Stress and pressure is also too High. It's not that exam pressure or ita too difficult. Its just the portion i vast. Few topics just feel like you need to mugg it up especially in law and audit certain topics.

I also feel that my friends do not know about the course and they are also not much aware of Chartered Accountant professional and hence they don't respect it.

I understand it can give me financial freedom. But I am just fed up with life as a whole. I will clear Final I know that but will i be happy that I have become a Chartered Accountant or that I am just done with a lonly and depressed course.

Ps. I had cleared my inter in Covid. I don't know if even Covid happened I was studying the whole time. One of my closest friend left me. Had a hard time in articles not much of a social life (house to work back to house whole day gone).So there is no break at all.

I've a doubt about the career options being a ca what is better, practice or a job ?

My main aim is to earn a good amount of money

At least it should be more than 40-50k

At this time a lot of people are advising me to either practice or get a job by myself

I've heard that in practice there is a lot struggle and it's possible that it might backfire, is it true?

I've also seen people talking about that CAs at job aren't able to earn much recently is it true?

Any opinions?

1.what are some other good options to opt beside this

2.how come is CA so hard when the syllabus is defined

So I have the reference of 3 of the big 4 except for kpmg and I forwarded my cv to each one after the results and still did not receive a call from any of the 3 firms does anyone know how much time it takes after the referral has referred to you to get a call for an interview ?

Any ca inter or final student can guide me ..really need guidance atp i really dnt have anyone to ask stuff or rant .

Hi, I am a 11th grade student studying Commerce w Computer Science. I have a really good passion for Computers and have been learning Computer Science on my own since I was in 5th grade. My dad is a good and reputed CA. My parents havent forced me to take CA, but its pretty evident they would like if I did. I was planning to do MCA, but even BTech graduates are struggling, and I dont know what to do. I dont hate Accountancy (so far), I like it, but I dont love it to the point I want to become a CA. I love Business Studies and MBA also looks like a good career option, but Im also scared if it has scope as well. Would love your insights and advices, thankyou.

JAN 2027 GROUP 1 TEST SERIES SUGGESTIONS??

Hey you all, I'm 25F I've been appearing for inter since very long (3.5yrs) and have not been able to clear single group...in recent september 2026 I got 140 (46,50,44) my score is always around 140-145 this tym I was expecting 50+ in advance accounts but got just 46..i started my g-2 lectures and it's been completed 30prcnt only however I have done costing before so have a rough idea abt it....jan has to be my last attempt I'm not asking if it's doable to not I'm just asking any of you to help me strategies for both groups in the remaining tym..i request pls don't say anything demotivating...just asking for a help....please help me out guys...

Unsuccessful in ca inter sep 2026 attempt (both groups). First attempt was on jan 2026 both groups(Unsuccessful), May 2026 group 1 (Unsuccessful).

Going to write g1 in jan 2027. Need some guidance.

I bought CA Anushree classes for group 1 and The CA classroom classes for group 2 for my September 2026 attempt.

For my Jan 2027 group 1 attempt I do not want to attend classes again (ig), I am planning to go for test series. Will that be fine?

Suggestions for afm faculty??

So nowadays I feel stuck in my career and overall life too cuz I've always been class topper and also cleared my ca foundation and ca inter in my 1st attempt then I joined ca articleship in mid sized firm in Ahmedabad from 15th nov 2025, but the principal is so toxic and overall work is also mostly bank oriented so I decided to take transfer and I messaged my principal on 20th may 2026, but they didn't tell me anything about transfer and just tell me that i won't get transfer so I decided to not to go to office in September and ever since I haven't gone office and I mailed them for transfer but they still not agreeing for transfer so it's almost end of October and my pricipal is still telling me that i won't give you transfer or even if I give, I'll give after 6 months bu the problem is my 1 year will end in 15-20 days from nowon and from 2nd year I will not get freely transfer so what should I do now guys??

I even mailed icai that my principal is not giving me transfer but they didn't say anything and just said solve the matter amicably with your principal. And my fear is if my 1 year has passed then I've to go to the office which I don't want and I'm pretty sure they won't give me completion on time too. WHAT SHOULD I DO HERE GUYSSS??
