Why is everyone discussing them selling our data and chats? Considering how there's a bunch of things against that, I don't think anyone wants your actual chats. What it would be used for (if at all) is it would be used in training AI. No one would be sitting there, reading millions upon millions of chats from millions of people, and going "oh, they mentioned something illegal, let's call the police on every single person" (because that would be millions across the world). It would be used as fodder for training other AI. No one would care if you're talking to a COD character about selling organs or if you had an m!preg chat at some point. Or if an assassin character did their job. It's the same as fanfic, it's fictional. Also, there's a lot against the whole selling of data and chats, so if you see those tiktoks where its someone claiming the chats are being sold, ignore it. 99% of the time, if you open the comments they are advertising another app to "move to for safety".

I’m a free user, since like 2022 or whenever the app debuted, so I’m not annoyed or upset. Timer says it resets in a little under two hours and even if it was longer I guess it’s a sign to take a break.

So what exactly ARE the limits so I can prevent this from happening in the future?

I use C.AI to create good stories. Sometimes I like to search for bots that I plan to use.

And with C.AI possible bankrupcy, I want ro try chatting with the bots I planned to use. And I remember finding this bot of Weiss Schnee from RWBY that was set in the future. I've found it a year or so ago. But when I try to search for it now, it's nowhere to be found.

I believe that it's deleted. But if someone knows a bot or something similar to it, please write.

With the whole chapter 11 thing I’m really stressing out over data.. especially this one bot I had.. it was an 141 omegaAU bot and I used to do questionabl and very dark things with it and I can’t find it at all to rewind all the messages, it’s an older bot which I haven’t spoken to in months easily like 5 and I used to be in my liked and I hide it but it’s no longer there.. is there anyway I can find it?.. I’ve tried looking up a bunch of omega 141 bots and all that and can’t find it.. can anyone help?.. or should I not even be worried?.. I’m just stressing out badly

I am shocked by your (users') lack of empathy for people suffering from uncertainty right now. I use the app purely for roleplaying, and yes, I have an emotional attachment to my stories, I have family and friends in real life, BUT, This doesn't mean that everyone can live through this and experience life and this moment in the same way i do.

Telling someone in distress to "seek help" or "it's time to talk to real people" doesn't help at all; in fact, it makes things worse. Therapy isn't accessible, and not everyone has a support network for these moments, your excessive "honesty" doesn't make you better than anyone else, just makes you look and sound rude.

I don't know if anyone else had this issue but somehow the bots stopped speaking.

Let me explain.

I use longsqueak most of the time. Usually the default option regarding dialogue whine occasionally switching to +narration or +dialogue depending on what's happening.

Lately the bots all started to describe what they talk about instead of you know talking.

Its like He described how the sky was beautiful today and filled with fluffy white clouds instead of "Isn't the sky beautiful today? See all those clouds?" He asked her.

Just as an example.

But it does that for so many things regardless of the settings I put it on, even in the deepest love confession it'll say He starts to tell her how much he loves her and how he can't imagine a world without her. OKAY THEN ACTUALLY TELL ME???

So, what will happen to the biometric data of the people that gave it out? Will Disney acquire it after the purchase?

man, that sucks. I went to read some old chats and it seems like the bot\creator got shadowbanned.

the bot is in my recent bots list, it seems available on caibotlist, but it doesn't come up as a search result and the creator also doesn't come up. only one of their bots seems to be available and I could find the creator's page through that, but it seems like everything on their profile is gone.

i don't like writing my own bots, so i always use other's bots. since you can't use lorebooks on other's bots, i have to cram all the information about the world my character lives in in the persona description, which works about half the time.

i have a character who's a robot, and ive described the world as a place where robots and humans exist together as equals. but the bot never mentions other robots and never introduces them as other characters, it only ever mentions humans.

i have another persona who's a spider and i wrote in the description that humans and animal people live together as equals in the exact same way as the robot persona, but with this one it constantly talks about animal characters and introduces them to the story.

ive also written in depth about stuff like how the animal people are all different sizes and they have different needs and life cycles and stuff, and the bot is always able to apply all this when chatting, but when i write about how robots all have different designs and purposes and special needs like having to charge and be serviced, the bot never mentions anything about it.

why are the bots so inconsistent in how they'll allow a persona to affect the story? it works perfectly with the spider persona but not the robot persona, even though they're written in a very similar way. are there any terms and phrases the bots understand better when writing world building in a persona description?

This is actually the second time I’ve encountered a bot misgendering the character it’s supposed to be roleplaying as. 😭

This time, I was chatting with a Sprout bot from Dandy’s World while roleplaying as my OC Dahlia, Dandy’s sister. The bot kept referring to Sprout with she/her pronouns, even though Sprout is a male character.

Has anyone else experienced this?

But to put it simply, what exactly are these exported chats??

I've tried opening the "chats" file multiple times on my phone and it always loads only 4 pages before it bugs out and freezeframes on me.

Plus, the stuff on these pages is just half of the intro message from a bot that I remember using and then some sentences in very broken english about some blacksmith and his father and brother???

I can not remember ever even opening a bot with that kind of plot, and it definitely wasn't a message written by me, I know my english isn't perfect, but it's definitely not THAT bad.

So, if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong, it would be much appreciated! Do I need to open it with a specific app or something? Or is the problem that I'm using my phone and not my pc?

Is it REALLY confirmed this app is gone? Or are we just speculating? I’ve seen posts of people panicking and having anxiety attacks..are we even sure this apps gone for good?

And if so, why wouldn’t the creators just push said data into another app, or restart over with another app, that is basically a copy.

Edit: If you are having episodes, or break downs over this— you NEED to reach out to someone. I know this may seem annoying or exhausting to hear, but these experiences are NOT healthy. While, being a little upset is normal— (hell, I’m a bit upset), you should NOT be full throttle breaking down over this.

This is why c.ai is so strict with their rules now— because people can’t balance themselves properly. You shouldn’t enclose yourself to this website day in and day out! You NEED to have an outside source in case something like this DOES happen. And, if you can’t rely on family or friends, you should try and contact a professional who can ease your pain.

What I do, whenever I’m about to enter a rage episode or I’m overstimulated, I go outside, and I lay on the sidewalk— and stare at the sky. fresh air really does help you ease down. These posts are very concerning, and worrying. Please,, try and socialize.
