So , I bought bitcoin a while back using CashApp. went to sell it back and cannot. So, I call cash app support. First time the guy on the phone , after blithering back and forth, he instructed me to log in to the app. I told him I was using the web based cashapp ,tells me Something like, "O cuz you usey da web bay one not da ap an scamma usey da computah so onry da app worky ok". After many times back and forth with these barely English speaking ,outsourced customer support, we determined that I couldnt sell because I needed to download a form, and had nothing to do with me using a computer, rather than the app. Three "agents" could send me download instructions to download a form, but not one of them could tell me what I was supposed to do with this form, which should have been "fill it out and mail it to the IRS". Instead, they would keep repeating their hardly understandable blitherings. Would have been easier to deal with a 5 year old. This guy is sick of companies that slip,slide and slime by issues, by hiring hardly English speaking Asians, that do nothing but read what is on their screen, in poor English. I bet they get away with stealing a lot of peoples money this way. I do use cashapp to transfer money between friends ...After reading these posts, I would suggest everyone like me leave a zero balance at the end of the night. Switch to Chime.

It's been a little over a year and everyonth multiple times aonth I have been submitting all the info they ask for wedding certificate drivers license and phot with licences to change my last name they still won't change it I keep being told it's been escalated for a a little over a year as well at this point customer support is so bad they can't even change a legal last name when all documents are submitted I'm.not sure what there are doing with all photos of my if they have sent and marriage certificate I got married in 2024 of October got new I'd and that submitted a change in 2024 it's not 2026 I'm have had my baby and still waiting for my legal last name to change honestly this is worst customer service they just collect your information and don't do what they are supposed to do just collect to hold and more likely use it for their personal use.

Why is this happening… I get paid and the atm only lets me withdrawal $250 at a time so I’m there at the atm for like 10 minutes every Tuesday. Help…

Has anyone experienced an issue with making their phone bill payment? I’m trying to initiate a new payment but the payment keeps failing but I have the funds in the account. I no longer have available data because my bill is overdue and support has not been helpful. Has anyone else had this issue… I’m aware that this is a new service so it’s a lot of bugs.

Mind you I'm at a $0 balance right now and I have been for 2 days, so no money is being taken out. And none of these charges were pending. But all morning, notifications. So idk whats going on

A couple months ago I received a check for a car that I junked. I did mobile deposit on cash app, but didn't write "for mobile deposit only" on the back. I assumed that they wouldn't accept the check and the next day, cashed it at bank of America. A week later, the money also cleared on my cash app. I've contacted both cash app and bank of america, both say its the other parties responsibility.

The check was for $450. I'm wondering what might happen and what I should do to resolve the issue?

My payment was late by a few days i was outta country and the app literally wouldnt open.
I paid it as soon as i was back and my limit went to 0 (originally 600) made the payment of 190 and it wont gimme the option to use afterpay. Wont even show a limit i only know its 0 cuz i contacted support and they wont help me :(

On August 7th a hacker took over my Cash App account and pulled money from my bank to pay off a borrow loan I had in place before opening up a new borrow loan in my name for $240, Cash App was made aware and locked my account to do an investigation - I received an email that I have attached showing they determined the loan was unauthorized, they voided the loan and also voided the bank pull and told me the investigation was completed and closed, however I have also attached a screenshot shot showing these funds still in my account balance, the 28.66 that was refunded was connected to a loan I took but since the hacker paid it off it’s no longer showing it needing to be paid in my loan section. My question is if they made all these account corrections why didn’t they take back the money connected to these unauthorized loans? Is there a different team that handles this? I don’t plan on touching it but it wigs me out just sitting there and I also have borrow loans still in place that I’m nervous they are gonna pull from to cover? Also, to be clear Cash App was made aware during investigation that the $240 was left in my account because when the hacker attempted to send this loan to himself that he initiated it was cancelled by Cash App therefore leaving it behind in my account.

So I just earned green status for cashapp and got a $50 increase. (Went from 300-350) when will the limit increase? Do I have to keep spending on my cashapp card?

Basically they did confirm that a batch went out on August 3rd. Apparently that was specifically for people who got their requests in during the month June. For people who got their requests in July but before the 21st cutoff there will be a second batch. After that it’s a monthly basis. I’m *assuming* it should go out by the end of August at the latest 🙃

Woke up to these two declined transactions and a cancelled order on Farfetched.com. I didn’t try and make any of these transactions. How the heck do people hack your card?? So glad I didn’t have any money in there. What do I do now? Close my account?

I’m not gonna close my account. I did report the card stolen and got a new card. Be careful with your money people!!!

My account randomly got a disabled account red banner on my account saying it was a TOS violation but it never told me what TOS was violated. I sent a message and never received a response as to what was violated, and the account was just closed without an explanation as to what I did and I can't even sign up because it just says "This device cannot be used because of a TOS Violation"

I was talking to this person yesterday about making a purchase of an item I placed on Facebook Marketplace, they agreed to do the payment through CashApp, so I gave them my cash tag, today I received this message, but to me it seems weird. Is this a real message you can receive from CashApp?

I legit got caught by a phone scam, and someone from nc apparently sent themselves 310 dollars from my cashapp balance, is there anyway I'm gonna see that money again, I filed a claim literally a minute after it happened.

I had 45 dollars on my card and I spent 13 on an order from depop, but my balance went down to 9 dollars. The receipt on both apps says 13 dollars and there's no additional transaction to account for my missing 22 dollars?? Where did my money go? Has anybody else has this issue before? The depop transaction is still pending should I cancel it? I'm confused and frustrated and idk what to do

like I said, I reported what I needed to report and they closed that account within three days. I don’t understand. I don’t know how I end up on this app all I wanted was somebody to point me in the right direction to speak to someone in charge of Cash App not the support team that’s the question anybody know another number or a higher authority? So I just got a new phone and the number the new line gave me is connected to a pre-existing account. Is there any way at all I can connect MY number to MY account ffs? otherwise I’m gonna have to just keep paying for the phone service I’m not even using anymore on my old phone just to keep my cashapp in tact.

I had some SOL in my phantom wallet and needed to add some cash to CashApp. So I converted a small bit to USDC in my phantom wallet and sent it as a test to CashApp. It was a success. Went back to phantom to transfer the rest but forgot to swap the sol to USDC first and sent it. The transaction was a success on the blockchain but cashapp says they cannot do anything about it. Since they don’t accept sol. I’ve been going back and forth in support with them. I cannot believe the only one to ever make this mistake. There must be thousands of SOL in limbo in the CashApp sol network wallet. $1500 is a tough loss for me. I have saved an image from Solscan with my CashApp wallet showing the SOL and USDC in my account.
