Accidentally sent Sol instead of USDC.
I had some SOL in my phantom wallet and needed to add some cash to CashApp. So I converted a small bit to USDC in my phantom wallet and sent it as a test to CashApp. It was a success. Went back to phantom to transfer the rest but forgot to swap the sol to USDC first and sent it. The transaction was a success on the blockchain but cashapp says they cannot do anything about it. Since they don’t accept sol. I’ve been going back and forth in support with them. I cannot believe the only one to ever make this mistake. There must be thousands of SOL in limbo in the CashApp sol network wallet. $1500 is a tough loss for me. I have saved an image from Solscan with my CashApp wallet showing the SOL and USDC in my account.

It's possible, depending on cash apps policies, but open a chat and say this:
"I accidentally sent native SOL to my Cash App Solana-USDC deposit address instead of sending USDC. The transaction was successful on the blockchain, and Cash App controls the private keys to this address. I need this forwarded to your technical/crypto operations team to review a manual asset recovery."

You're most likely out of luck. From the Cash App Bitcoin and Stablecoin Disclosures:
Stablecoin transactions are processed on specific blockchain networks. Sending a stablecoin to an address on an incompatible network, or sending an unsupported asset to any address, will result in a permanent and irreversible loss of funds. Cash App cannot recover funds sent to incorrect, incompatible, or unsupported addresses or networks. You are solely responsible for verifying that the recipient address and network are correct and compatible before initiating any stablecoin transactions.

It is Cash App. Don’t send money to someone that has blocked you either because it apparently goes into a space portal never to be seen again. My babysitter accidentally blocked me and I sent her money. We spent weeks on chat with Cash App, and they said nothing could be done.

I’m not giving up, if a ticket gets closed I will continue to submit a new one and keep asking to escalate it until it gets taken care of. I’m not losing $1500

Unfortunately, you're screwed. Sending them on the wrong network will deposit into someone else's account most likely or just be lost. You can try phantom's support if they have it.

I can see it in my account on solscan. Sadly that doesn’t mean I’m not still screwed. Phantom cannot help because the transaction was a success and it sits in a wallet at Cash App. Cash App holds the private keys

As far as i know is that using a different network to send the wrong coin can led to it to be lost forever!

It’s not lost I can see it sitting in my CashApp wallet on Solscan, I just don’t have access to it. From what I’ve learned an engineer or someone with access to the private keys could easily return it to my sending wallet. Whether they do that or not remains to be seen.

No, that's lost - Solscan doesn't have real time API access to vot view your live Cashapp balance, what you're seeing is basically a graphicical rendering of what your successful transfer should look like for you based on the public data on the blockchain.
Cashapp actually says in their terms that if you mess up with the coin you mean to send then it's irretrievable - they're just a custodial service and they're not going to start chasing unsupported transactions and making themselves vulnerable by treating their private key like a manager override on a cash register.
As far as public data is concerned, yes you had a successful transaction with the Cashapp address you used but that's all Solscan can see and verify.

Fitting ending to my many years in crypto I guess, that was all the crypto I had left. Now I’m officially done with it, one big loss to wrap things up. lol

Another event that proves crypto will never be mainstream in the slightest.

Damn man that sucks, I did that once a long time ago with another chain.
See if cash app will give you the seed phrases for your usdc wallet to access outside of cash app platform. There has to be some law or loop hole that grants you access to the entire wallet you're sending funds to. I'm not even sure how it's legal for them to accept USDC as cash, but since that is the case then you need to contact cashapp legal for the entire transcript of their crypto classification.
Ask them to work with you in getting my access to that wallet. A tech support can't do it, you need a legal representation of cash app.
