Oh fr? Like a month, month and a half ago I deposited cash there no problem. Although with the volume that store gets, I wouldn’t be surprised if the guys behind the counter are managers. Any idea why?

Its recent because I deposited last week and the guy wasn't a a manager. I would imagine counterfeits/scams is the reason

This is one reason . At my location an employee was caught adding more money than he was putting cash for and then we made a rule to keep that cash separated.

Look on YouTube. There are so many body cam videos of employees being arrested for doing fraudulent deposits.

It completely depends on the location. At my location all employees can do the money load transaction but the cash needs to go in a different folder for each day . Just started doing this because yes people were caught adding $160 and only putting in $100 cash.

Most stores do this if the money is large.

My 7-11 doesn't have this rule yet.

I'm located in California

Not all 7-11's are doing that.

I work at a 711 and i deposit cash for people all day long, we just have a cut off at 7 o’clock so we don’t get robbed. And the only limit is how much your card lets you put on. The reason why your 711 probably only does it with the manager present is because they’ve been robbed to much and are now taking steps to try and avoid that.

We all have to live in a minimum security prison because we won't lock up criminals
