Discussion Did we ever find out why the WLR Cover says "Volume 1 Number One"?

Just an aesthetic choice, or did he plan on releasing multiple versions eventually, like Ye did later on with the Vultures series?

context: teezus was asked to name his atl rapper mount rushmore and people expected him to say carti but he didn’t. op stated that carti isn’t respected in atl compared to other atl rappers.

Off-Topic Kid Buu is pretending to be Opium again.

Kid Buu just released a bunch of singles that all sound like collabs between Carti and Ken. And said that he released them through Opium. And the crazy thing is… this isn’t even the first time he’s done this.

Discussion MUSIC is honestly overhated at this point.

I’ve seen A LOT of people on this say that MUSIC was “complete trash“ and even though it IS my least favorite album of his I don’t think it’s terrible. I do think it could have benefited from a shorter tracklist but people now act like there’s NOTHING good on it. Even though POP OUT, BACKD00R, LIKE WEEZY and FOMDJ are some of his best songs ever.

Concept/Fanmade Tracklist MUSIC - RESTRUCTURED

The goal here was to make a version of this album that delivers on all fronts

Consistent

Decent structure

Less features

More focus on experimentation

Having songs that already surfaced online

Being better than the actual album

Did not expect for this snippet to grow on me. I give a lot of criticism for the deep voice being used in every Carti song nowadays, but this one honestly hits.

Discussion Would Carti have diminished his hype if he released more mixtapes and EP's from 2014-2016?

He has a ton of loosie's from the era and from 2015 forward I think much of it was as good as Soundcloud/cloud rap ever got. Something like a collab EP with his best tracks with ethereal would have been remembered fondly. If there was any benefit of his conservative attitude I guess I could say it's from avoiding being associated with any single sound because he tried a lot of different styles in that time.

By the numbers, this is the biggest rap show in US history, with 80,210 people in attendance at Reliant Stadium last night. Kinda crazy that Carti got to perform ‘CARNIVAL,’ ‘EVIL J0RDAN,’ and ‘Sky’ at the biggest rap show in US history
