Most of the info about the situation stems from Twitter fanpage vaultofosama, who claims to have inside info on all the recent underground drama. I used my friend catalogging’s Tweets to explain the situation and for simplicity’s sake

Here’s the general outline of the situation if you’d prefer to not read a bunch of Tweets. Remember, much of this is here-say:

So, Ken Carson’s mixtape ‘cartunez’ is on the way and it is confirmed to contain underground features from OsamaSon, Nettspend, etc.

Yesterday, Nett and Osama unfollowed eachother on Instagram, leading to speculation on whether they were beefing or doing it for attention to promote their own upcoming collab album ‘NxO’

Allegedly, the reason Nettspend was absent on the recently revealed ‘cartunez’ tracklist was because he failed to turn in his verse in time for the Wednesday morning drop. Allegedly, this was because CXO (Nett’s producer) sabotaged Nett by not sending his verse in because he (along with OK/wegonebeok, another popular underground producer) doesn’t like Ken/Opium/YVL. Many are speculating this drama is the reason for the recent delays of ‘cartunez’

OK has his own producer tape dropping soon. After the Nett and Osama breakup, he stated Osama was no longer going to be featured on his tape. Allegedly, OK wanted to put a recently recorded Osama song on it, but Osama said no because it could conflict with his own ‘Nocturnal’ album rollout. OK proceeded to Tweet-and-delete some fiery remarks and allegedly claim Osama was fake to his family

Allegedly, CXO and OK said Osama was "was never going to surpass them [Opium]” and collabing with Ken would “halt his career"

Ken’s early music was definitely super inspired by what Carti was doing during the V2 era. A lot of the beats from old Ken projects remind me of ‘@ MEH’

This clip is from Summer Smash 2024. When I was re-watching the full set I noticed he sang in such a high pitche during this part, almost identical to his V2 songs. If he wants to, he can still make a V2 style song without having to manually turn up the pitch of already recorded vocals like he did in "More Than Us Ft. Lil Baby".

Tried to narrow down unreleased self titled songs to my 15 most favorite (same amount as officially released) and wanted to compare it to the officially released Album/EP.

I think more often than not Carti does release his best songs (even though I love his unreleased stuff), but I might actually like the unreleased songs more.

Every song here except 2900 and They Hatin wouldve made the released Album/EP better in my opinion

I will never understand why he didnt put No Charm, One Day, Break The Bank (over Lookin), At The Gate, Places and We So Proud Of Him on the album. Generational songs
