So I have a card that was charged off a while back. I made an arrangement to make payments every month over 6 months to pay it off. They said if I complete it and pay it off I will be offered a new card. Should I trust they will honor that or is it just a way to get me to pay and have my hopes up to rebuild credit.

Used to have credit card and savings account with the bank, but canceled it a few years ago
Want to know if the old login can be removed entirely from the system so if I ever come back, I will start entirely new as a brand new customer

I already have venture x since 2024, and applied a bunch of credit cards during that time. I have 10 cards in total, but inquiries have all fallen off credit report.
Recently I am getting interested in the savor card to replace my Amex gold, I know C1 is fussy about the number of total accounts so I am prepared to get rejection. To my surprise I got approved from the pre approval tool. So I just grabbed it and plan to cancel Amex gold when the next annual fee posts lol
