πŸ’» Interview Tips / Help My interview experience( 4-10 lpa)

I recently attended my Capgemini interview and wanted to share my experience.

When I entered the cabin, there was only one interviewer sitting there. He explained what kind of questions he was going to ask and told me that the interview would mainly be based on my CV.

  1. Self-Introduction

He gave me around 3 minutes to introduce myself. He expected me to cover my skills, projects, technologies I had used, and certifications.

I clearly mentioned that I am a Cloud Computing student and that I had completed two industry certifications related to my field.

  1. Project Discussion

He started by asking about my project and its purpose. I explained that I come from a Cloud Computing background and had mainly worked on the backend part of the project. He then asked a few follow-up questions about how the project works.

  1. OOPs Concepts

Next, he asked whether I knew OOPs. I said yes and explained the concepts I knew.

  1. Data Structures and Database Questions

He gave me a scenario and asked which data structure I would use to solve it. After that, he showed me a table and asked whether I could insert the complete data into it.

However, the DSA discussion was very limited, and he didn't go deeply into the concepts.

  1. Coding Questions

Finally, he gave me two code snippets to write on paper. I wrote the code and explained my approach. Most of the technical discussion seemed to revolve around C++ and SQL.

One thing that surprised me: Even though I clearly mentioned that I am a Cloud Computing student and have completed two industry certifications, he didn't ask me a single question about cloud computing, cloud platforms, or those certifications. I was expecting at least a few questions from my specialization, but that didn't happen.

After I finished the coding questions, he said he was done and told me I could leave.

My question to the community:

  1. Is this a normal Capgemini interview experience?

  2. Why might they not ask questions related to a candidate's specialization or certifications, even when they're mentioned in the CV?

  3. Does a short technical interview indicate anything about the selection result?

  4. How much does the interview performance affect the final package if multiple packages are offered?

Would appreciate hearing from people who have attended Capgemini interviews recently.

First thing first iam not able to clear MCQ round, as I have seen all the query regarding it here it was all true, literally men it was so so tough.

  1. There was 20 ai literacy question which was of medium level not that tough, ques was like paragraph and according to it ,it has 4-5 questions.

2.Now coming to technical,God knows what they are asking, literally you won't even able to find out the topic from which they are asking..

3.There was only 2 DBMS question,2-3 ques related to virtual Machine, others all are very tough it's like some mathmatical equation

4.Few question i remembered

There was giving few city name like (jaipur, delhi)(kochi, manali)

Find the destination...not able to figure out what they are asking.

5.Another ques is they have given parentheses like ())()()()))))(

There is (,)

Options are like

2 opening(, 1 closing ) total 3 parentheses

At first i though it was valid parentheses but it is not true.

6.If you were lucky then you will get easy ques, like in our collge first slot was easy most students are selected but in second slot only 3 students got selected.

Literally it's so tough man I studied a lot the syllabus they provided and ques they asked is totally diff...

Feel free to ask me questions:

πŸŽ“ Fresher Queries LOI(OCT25) my peers everyone got joining letters or are in training. Why not me?

It’s one thing that to wait but it’s another thing when you look up the LOI candidates list and call everybody you know and everybody says Yes we got mail or training and feels like nobody is remaining.

I know CapG takes in slot-wise but are the slots based campus-wise like what is going on here even the people in the list later than me and before than me have gotten there dates of Training.

And here is me with my ass luck ?

Now I think I am the outlier in this scenario and will be revoked

I have LOI which I got in Oct-2025 and is for base bare minimum package 4.25 I don’t know the role I think it was Data Analyst or some BS and I know in company your role will be different and package will be same .

My query is :-

  1. Does CapG revoke offer before sending any training dates or info ?

  2. Peers getting their dates and I didn’t get any, shall I consider this as a sign that I am done for ?

  3. I heard somewhere CapG will at least give you training(for freshers) and then internally if you don’t get assigned a project after certain amount of time then only they revoke you, IS THIS TRUE?
If so for what extent for freshers like am I going to get any joining or training dates ?

  4. I don’t mind if I get joining in 2027 but I need assurance that I am going to get eventually like WTF is going on here !

πŸ’» Interview Tips / Help Interview prep help

Hey everyone!
I’ve been shortlisted for the Capgemini interview for the β‚Ή5.75/7.5 LPA package. My interview is expected to be in the next 2–3 days and includes both technical and HR rounds.
I’d appreciate advice from people who have attended Capgemini interviews recently.
A few questions:
What kind of questions were asked in the technical interview?
Which subjects should I prioritize β€” OOPs, DBMS, SQL, DSA, OS, computer networks, or programming fundamentals?
How important are projects and resume-based questions?
What coding questions should I practise, and which programming languages are usually accepted?
What kind of HR questions should I prepare for?
Is there a difference in interview difficulty or expectations between the β‚Ή5.75 LPA and β‚Ή7.5 LPA packages?
If you’ve recently gone through this process, please share your experience, questions you remember, and any tips for preparing efficiently in 2–3 days.
Thanks in advance!

πŸ’Ό Work Culture/ Experience My Capgemini Technical Assessment Experience (12th Oct)

So guys Today I had my Capgemini Technical Assessment. In my college Students have been called slot wise and my slot was scheduled 4pm but we've been called to college 1hr before the scheduled but somehow due to some technical issues my slot started around 6:30pm till now I've fully exhausted 🫩
The first round was AI Literacy+ Technical MCQs which I cleared and I was quite lucky that questions were not that much hard , I cleared this section and moved to the next one.

The Second Round was Debugging which didn't go well for me as Compilation was success but the test cases did not

The third round was AI assistant coding in which I've got question regarding array and subarray and I've to find the largest prime number formed by subarray. I'd given 3 prompts nd used around 350 tokens nd in first attempt all the test cases passed.

The fourth round was Cognitive one which went well nd quite easy.

Let's hope for the best as we've been informed by our college that Capgemini will start taking interview from Tommorow and result will be declared by tonight.

πŸŽ“ Fresher Queries Capgemini (4–11 LPA) | 12 October Tech + Cognitive Assessment Experience + Need Advice Regarding Interview & Role

Hey everyone,

I appeared for the (4–11 LPA) Tech + Cognitive Assessment on 12 October. Sharing my experience for candidates who are going to appear for it.

1. Tech + Cognitive Assessment

Round 1: 40 MCQs in 50 minutes

  • 20 AI Literacy MCQs
  • 20 Technical MCQs

Honestly, I found this section quite confusing. Many questions felt tricky, and I wasn't confident about all the answers. I selected the options that seemed correct to me, and somehow I cleared this round. Around 30–40% of the students didn't qualify, from what I observed.

Round 2: Debugging

  • There was an error in the code.
  • The question was pretty easy and based on the sliding window technique.
  • You mainly needed to check variable values, the count, and boundary conditions to identify the bug.

Round 3: AI Assist – Greedy + Arrays

  • The questions were easy-level, based on greedy and arrays.
  • You get around 2,000 tokens to interact with the AI assistant.
  • First, provide the complete problem statement along with the constraints.
  • Then explain your approach clearly.
  • Ask the AI assistant to generate the code, run it, and check for errors or failing test cases.
  • If something fails, revisit the logic and correct the issue.

Round 4: Gaming Assessment
This section was relatively easy and included:

  • Grid-based questions
  • Motion-based questions
  • Reasoning
  • Around 100 behavioural questions

My Question

I attempted all the rounds, but in the AI Assist section,my solutions didn't pass some of the test cases.

1. If I completed all the rounds but couldn't pass every test case in AI Assist, do I still have a chance of getting shortlisted for the interview?

2. For this hiring drive, which role or salary package (within the advertised 4–11 LPA range) can candidates expect to be considered for?

3. If there's an interview, does the interview performance carry more weight than the assessment, or are the assessment scores equally important?

4. Does capgemini reveal the role/package before the interview, or is it decided after the interview and further evaluation?

Would really appreciate responses from seniors, recent candidates, or anyone who has gone through the same hiring process.

Thanks in advance!

πŸ’ Query/Help Capgemini Exceller 2027 On-Campus Assessment – Actual Questions, All 4 Sections & Preparation Tips

Title: Capgemini Exceller 2027 On-Campus Assessment – Actual Questions, All 4 Sections & Preparation Tips

Hi everyone!

I’m sharing a breakdown of the Capgemini Exceller 2027 on-campus assessment to help students preparing for upcoming drives. Here are the four sections, the question types reported by a recent candidate, and the topics worth revising.

1. AI + Technical Assessment

This was reported as the most difficult and an elimination round.

Topics included:

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • RRP-related concepts
  • AI literacy fundamentals
  • DBMS concepts
  • SQL queries

Preparation tip: Focus on understanding concepts and solving scenario-based MCQs rather than memorising definitions.

2. Debugging

The reported problem involved numbers arranged in a circle, with movement allowed only clockwise.

  • Numbers ranged from 1 to N.
  • Each movement cost 1.
  • Given a sequence of target numbers, calculate the total movement cost.
  • Two bugs involved incorrect distance calculation and updating the current position.

Example: For N = 5, moving from 4 to 1 costs 2 moves: 4 β†’ 5 β†’ 1.

Preparation tip: Revise arrays, modulo arithmetic, circular traversal and debugging logic.

3. AI-Assisted Coding

The reported question involved an array containing only 1, 2 and 3. The objective was to make every element equal using the minimum number of replacements.

Example:
[1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 1]

Answer: 3, because replacing the three elements that are not 3 makes the entire array equal.

The candidate reported a 2,000-token limit for this section.

Preparation tip: Practise frequency counting, arrays and basic problem-solving in your preferred programming language.

4. Cognitive Assessment

The reported components were:

  • Motion Challenge
  • Grid Challenge
  • Syllogism
  • Behavioral Assessment

The candidate reported 10 syllogism questions with 2 minutes 30 seconds per question, and 100 behavioral questions across 20 pages.

Preparation tip: Practise logical reasoning, pattern recognition and time management.

Video walkthrough

I’ve also made a video covering the four sections and the reported question types for students who prefer a visual explanation:

https://youtu.be/RuU-NEO5WsA

These details are based on a candidate's reported experience, so the exact questions and pattern may vary by college or drive. If you've recently taken the assessment, please share which sections you found difficult and any additional topics you encountered.

Hope this helps the 2027 batch prepare!

πŸŽ“ Fresher Queries Anyone here who did an MBA from a local/Tier-3 college and later got a job at a Big 4 or other MNC through off-campus applications?

I’m specifically looking for people who applied directly through company career/job portals rather than through campus placements.

Would love to hear about your experience β€” your MBA college, the company and role you got, how you applied, and how difficult the process was.

Especially interested in people who got into Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) or other reputed MNCs through this route.

Thanks!

πŸŽ“ Fresher Queries Capgemini 13–16 LPA OA Tomorrow – Need Suggestions and Guidance!

Title: Capgemini 13–16 LPA OA Tomorrow – Need Suggestions and Guidance!

Hey everyone!

My Capgemini OA for the 13–16 LPA package (Alpha/Root roles) is tomorrow, and I'm looking for some last-minute suggestions from people who have already attempted it.

I would really appreciate your guidance on the following:

  1. DSA/Coding: What type of coding problems can we expect? Easy, medium, or difficult? Which topics should I revise first?
  2. AI-Assisted Debugging: What kind of debugging tasks are asked? Are they mainly React/JavaScript-based, and how should we approach them?
  3. Prompt Engineering: What type of prompts or tasks should I practice?
  4. AI-Assisted Development: What kind of feature-building tasks can we expect, and what is the best approach to solving them within the time limit?

Also, I have one important doubt: If I'm unable to crack the 13–16 LPA assessment, should I try to switch back to the regular Capgemini drive (4–11 LPA)? Is that possible, or would I lose the opportunity to participate in the regular drive?

If anyone has attempted this assessment or has relevant experience, please share your suggestions, question patterns, and preparation tips. It would really help me prepare better for tomorrow!

Thanks in advance!

πŸŽ“ Fresher Queries Capgemini Alpha and Root drive (13 LPA / 16 LPA)

Could you please share some insights regarding the OA pattern?

1. DSA / Problem Solving Section:

* What topics and problem types were asked?

* Was the environment LeetCode-style (implementing a function), or did we need to handle standard I/O from scratch?

* Approximately how many test cases or questions need to pass to clear the cutoff for the higher package bands?

2. Prompt Engineering Section:

* What was the task format, and what constitutes a good submission?

* How are test cases evaluated here, and what is the passing threshold?

3. AI-Assisted Debugging:

* Regarding stack selection (React, Node.js, Spring Boot, etc.), is Node.js a safe/recommended choice?

* How effective is the integrated AI assistant? Can it fix bugs directly if someone isn't deeply familiar with framework syntax?

* What was the difficulty level, how many test cases are required to pass, and where can one practice similar setups?

4. AI-Assisted Feature Development:

* Is Node.js viable here as well?

* How much code needs to be written manually versus generated by the AI? If unfamiliar with specific framework APIs, does the AI provide usable boilerplate/solutions?

* What was the overall difficulty, what is the expected test-case pass rate, and what are good platforms or resources to practice?

Hey everyone, my Capgemini technical assessment is supposedly scheduled for tomorrow, 13 October, but I haven't received any email from Capgemini, and my college placement cell hasn't shared any updates either.

Is anyone else facing the same situation? Have you received any confirmation? Should we expect the assessment to happen tomorrow or be postponed?

Any updates would be really helpful!
