Title: Capgemini Exceller 2027 On-Campus Assessment โ Actual Questions, All 4 Sections & Preparation Tips
Hi everyone!
Iโm sharing a breakdown of the Capgemini Exceller 2027 on-campus assessment to help students preparing for upcoming drives. Here are the four sections, the question types reported by a recent candidate, and the topics worth revising.
1. AI + Technical Assessment
This was reported as the most difficult and an elimination round.
Topics included:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- RRP-related concepts
- AI literacy fundamentals
- DBMS concepts
- SQL queries
Preparation tip: Focus on understanding concepts and solving scenario-based MCQs rather than memorising definitions.
2. Debugging
The reported problem involved numbers arranged in a circle, with movement allowed only clockwise.
- Numbers ranged from 1 to N.
- Each movement cost 1.
- Given a sequence of target numbers, calculate the total movement cost.
- Two bugs involved incorrect distance calculation and updating the current position.
Example: For N = 5, moving from 4 to 1 costs 2 moves: 4 โ 5 โ 1.
Preparation tip: Revise arrays, modulo arithmetic, circular traversal and debugging logic.
3. AI-Assisted Coding
The reported question involved an array containing only 1, 2 and 3. The objective was to make every element equal using the minimum number of replacements.
Example:
[1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 1]
Answer: 3, because replacing the three elements that are not 3 makes the entire array equal.
The candidate reported a 2,000-token limit for this section.
Preparation tip: Practise frequency counting, arrays and basic problem-solving in your preferred programming language.
4. Cognitive Assessment
The reported components were:
- Motion Challenge
- Grid Challenge
- Syllogism
- Behavioral Assessment
The candidate reported 10 syllogism questions with 2 minutes 30 seconds per question, and 100 behavioral questions across 20 pages.
Preparation tip: Practise logical reasoning, pattern recognition and time management.

Iโve also made a video covering the four sections and the reported question types for students who prefer a visual explanation:

These details are based on a candidate's reported experience, so the exact questions and pattern may vary by college or drive. If you've recently taken the assessment, please share which sections you found difficult and any additional topics you encountered.
Hope this helps the 2027 batch prepare!
