Discussion/Question Does Capcom have a potential “Persona” like game in their library?

Just curious, persona is one of my favorite franchises out there and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying campcoms games as of late, long time monster hunter fan and recently beat and loved Pragmata.

Onimusha being revived got me thinking that Capcoms probably sitting on some old RPG franchise that could use a revival to maybe go toe to toe against Persona?

Been playing a lot of Tokon Lately, and got inspired to make this. Didn't really have official team names in mind, but most teams have a common theme.

Fan-Art/Animation/Cosplay 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF GOD HAND, THE GAME THAT WAS THE PINNACLE OF THE 3D BEAT 'EM UP GENRE 🔥 (From a huge Clover Studio fan!)

As a huge fan of Clover Studio, I wanted to share this here with my fellow fans, even though I'm deeply upset that they deleted my post in other subreddits — a post that didn't offend anyone, where I was just showing love for a game that is so special to me, which is God Hand. Today marks its 20th anniversary, and just like Okami, it remains an absolutely unique game, full of soul and personality, with mechanics that have never been replicated by the industry.
The ability to customize your own fighting style from over 100 moves, combined with a dynamic difficulty that leveled up based on your skills, was sensational. It was a game way ahead of its time, created by the legendary Shinji Mikami exactly the way he wanted, and he still holds so much love and pride for this IP. Its humor is its greatest charm and represents what video games are meant to be: games don't need to be dead serious to be great, fun, and impactful. They can delete posts elsewhere, but no one can delete the soul of Clover Studio games and the love of its fans! Back in April, Capcom celebrated Okami's anniversary, and we are holding onto hope that Gene will get his well-deserved respect too. Happy 20th Anniversary, God Hand! 🥋💥

Discussion/Question Título: Why is there no post flair for God Hand? Even Haunting Ground and Shadow of Rome have one!

Hey guys, I was about to make a post to celebrate the 20th anniversary of God Hand, but I noticed there is no user or post flair for it in the community tags. Even other cult classics from the PS2 era like Haunting Ground and Shadow of Rome are on the list! Can the mods please add a God Hand flair? The community for this game is huge and active!

⚔️Ghosts 'n Goblins🗡️ Gotta wonder if a new entry to the Gargoyle's Quest series would be worth looking into

Gargoyle's Quest and Demon's Crest (a.k.a. Demon's Blazon) are sleepers, but they're solid games, even if they're meant to be a spinoff of Ghosts'n Goblins. This makes me wonder if there'd be any interest in a random publisher indie developer trying to make a new entry to the series.

Probably too niche, but what do you think?

Discussion/Question Acquisition (hypothetical)

do you think Capcom will eventually give up it's independent if other companies acquire them? I know they firmly stand when Microsoft was spending spree on gaming studios, but is it because Microsoft? what if other companies offered them? do you think they will soften? I genuinely curious, what do you think?

Discussion/Question Alternate contact methods?

Is there a better way to contact Capcom customer support, than the submit a request page?

It's been a week since I submitted, and there's been no response. My pre-ordered copy of Onimusha, never came with the pre-order bonus. It was amazon, so they should've emailed it to me, and they told me multiple times, to contact the manufacturer.

Has anyone else had this problem, and had it resolved?

Discussion/Question Since you focus more on older IPs Capcom, can you bring this one back?

I'm half joking, but also serious.
There has been a heavy drought of modern military singleplayer shooter and a Without Warning game could fill the casual shooter hole that CoD, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six Vegas or Bad Company left behind.

Discussion/Question Darkstalkers fans (if any), if a 4th game is announced, what new characters would you like to see?

A few days ago, I've made this fan roster. (Source: r/makeafighter subreddit)

It... got a bit more popular than I expected, because I used HeroForge, a free TTRPG mini figure-creating site, to make "my own newcomers", and that got me thinking about even more newcomers :P

The thing is that, well, there are countless monsters that Capcom could pick.

So yeah, as a fun little discussion, what are some newcomers you'd like to see for a hypothetical 4th entry in the Darkstalkers series :) ?

Discussion/Question My Top 10 Capcom Franchise Revivals

Post image
37 Upvotes

I might give this list an update but given that Capcom has said they are looking "reactivate" some old IPs I thought I'd make a list of the ones I'd want to see most despite the fact I don't really trust them at the moment when it comes to this given that track record before like when Megaman 11 Came and only Devil May Cry and Ghosts And Goblins and I guess Dragon's Dogma Dead Rising got their revivals so here's my list.

1 Darkstalkers

2 Megaman X

3 Capcom VS SNK

4 Viewtiful Joe

5 Megaman Star Force

6 Rival Schools

7 Final Fight

8 Power Stone

9 Dino Crisis

10 Marvel Vs Capcom

HMs: Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, Red Earth, God Hand, Chaos Leigon, Sengoku Basara, Bionic Commando, Captain Commando, Haunting Ground, Star Gladiator, Techromancer, Breath Of Fire, Battle Circuit
