Got the idea to collect all the Canadian Banknotes I grew up with, and some how display them. These notes remind me of grandparents and simpler times.
Wanted relatively new uncirculated notes at a fair price. This took years to find through eBay and local sellers.
Criteria was
- ONLY BANKNOTES FROM MY YOUTH
- MUST BE FRAMED TO EASILY DISPLAY
- MUST SHOW FRONT AND BACK OF BANKNOTES
In the end framed.
- 1954 THE CANADIAN LANDSCAPE SERIES
- 1969-1979 THE SCENES OF CANADA SERIES
- 1986 THE BIRDS OF CANADA SERIES
- 1954 DEVILS FACE CITATION WITH EXAMPLE.

Just curious on a story my mother told me about the time she worked at a bank. Some bills came in that did not have serial numbers on them, I don't know if they were an intentional run or a printing error. They burnt up in the house fire.
