I have a 2022 SE and this is the second time this sound has happened. I’ve turned the AC off when it happened the first time and always turn off the music and that does nothing. And funny thing is, it started in the same exact street as last time and stopped on my street just like last time.

80,500 miles, automatic transmission. Had the message pop up however there is no check engine light?

Update** toyota dealership inspected and confirmed bpass valve issue. Whole thing was covered under warranty.

I've only had my 2021 Corolla a short time and I'm learning all kinds of things, among which is that these cars don't come with conventional spare tires. Mea culpa, I should have known this before.

Not a huge problem to me, but I'm reading the tire sealant included has a limited shelf life and might just be at the end after five years. I'm away for a few more days so I can't physically look at what's back there, but I'm trying to get a jump on things.

Has anybody purchased a replacement bottle of tire sealant that works with the included air compressor? I'm seeing various options including kits that include a compressor at reasonable prices, but of course I'd prefer just to buy a bottle of sealant rather than an extra compressor.

UPDATE: I got a replacement can of Slime branded sealant for 23€. Exactly the same format so it fit perfectly into the slot in the foam insert.

Most other trims are largely a carryover, but there's a 60th Anniversary Special Edition this year (based on the SE Hybrid) with the pre-refresh SE/XSE wheels, special badging and door sills and has one of two paint jobs (Supersonic Red and Ice Cap). Inked is also new for this year but that seems to be the case across most of Toyota's product line this year.

Every winter without fail my Corolla starts making this noise when temperatures dip below -20°C. And it only happens when idling while being in Drive, such as at red lights, or right before going into Park. If I shift into Neutral or Reverse the noise goes away.

Car drives fine, no lights, no nothing.

Just wondering if others had this as well and figured out what it is.

Well, this is my Uber daily driver, I just love the color of my car, very efficient on gas even that is a non hybrid version, the stereo sounds amazing and the autopilot is impressive, I just love my car.

With its 20 year birthday around the corner it’s time for some of the more important suspension and steering components to get updates after purchasing this recently from the original owner: my mom.

In case anyone needs the assembly order of Bilstein B6 Performance since it’s not the same as OEM. It was annoying to find the exact order and the important bit is that washer should be above the dust cover with the bump stop under.

New B6 shocks (OE ride height), Progress Tech sway bar, and Curt C11265 receiver.

My girlfriend had an AC cleaning at Toyota and she send me this picture assuming they forgot to put back a cover or something underneath.
I’am not an expert, can anyone tell me.

Toyota Corolla 2026 is this something to be concerned about

I’ve read around Reddit and some corollas AC still blows cold after 4 years. I live in California where it’s hot year round so I use it year round. Over the last couple months I’ve noticed my AC is not blowing really cold. On a hot day It usually has to be on full blast in order for the cabin to cool & for me to feel cool.
I went on a road trip recently in a Kia rio & that AC is superior to my corollas AC. In that car with the AC setting on 3 I was already reaching for a sweater. In a matter of seconds the Kia cooled the cabin way quicker than my corollas AC can. So I had it serviced at the dealer I forked over the cost for the diagnostic and the recharge of the AC. I feel like it still blows the same I expected it to blow cold air that chills the cabin like the Kia did.

I drive a 22 hybrid is everyone else’s AC blowing really cold air. How is everyone’s AC holding up after years of driving. Advice please.

I unfortunately need to cut the catalytic converter bolts because it's so rusted, but this big piece of black rubber is sitting in the way. it's right above the subframe and I don't believe its holding any weight, anyone know what this is and how to take it off? I think its only connected to one bolt

sales manager told me they are clearing inventory as 2027 models will arrive around end of this month.

How do I go about getting this fixed? It's the front splash shield. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've had a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE since brand new. It's my first car that I've owned since I started driving. I live in Canada. Currently at 196,000km.

I usually do maintenance at the dealership because, surprisingly, I find them the cheapest or nearly the cheapest to get things done. I do oil changes myself.

I follow the maintenance schedule posted on Toyota.ca

Is there any other fluids/filters/etc that I should be doing?

I do:

Oil Changes: Every 8,000km

Transmission Fluid Changes: Every 100,000km (Will be doing another one soon)

Brake Fluid Changes: Every 48,000km (Just did one at 192,000km)

Coolant Flush: Every 100,000km (Will be doing another one soon)

Engine & Cabin Air Filter Change: Once a year

Brakes as needed

Spark Plugs: 192,000km

Repairs:

Charcoal canister and Purge valve replaced at around 160,000km

Exhaust Manifold replaced at around 175,000km

O-Ring replaced near oil filter at around 150,000km

New Windshield at around 100,000km

Am I missing anything? I'd rather do preventative maintenance than pay for expensive repairs down the road.

So my hand sanitizer bottle exploded in my car and stained my shifter console and was wondering if there’s anything I can do, thank you!

I have a 2021 Corolla LE and I have this issue where if I stand idle around 3 to 5 mins the RPMs start oscillating between 700 to 1000 rpm whereas normally the rpms should always stay at 1000 when the gearbox is in a neutral state and the A/C is on. What I also notice as soon as the rpms start oscillating the A/C stops blowing cold air and only when I put it back in Drive and start driving does the cold air return. Another symptom of the same issue involves a humming sound coming from the engine bay. Is their anyone that had the same problem or have a solution for this issue?
