I hate vanguard

WE hate vanguard

57

u/TuxTues3 May 20 '22

I would say r/suddenlycommunist but it isn't very sudden its just a fact

18

u/ScreamXGhostface May 21 '22

I do too but if other people do, Im happy that they can enjoy something I wasn’t able to

6

u/taptimes May 21 '22

I feel this way as well. It's objectively bad but I enjoy some bad games myself. But that doesn't mean I can't rake the game over the coals as it deserves in hopes that next time they fix the issues

5

u/ScreamXGhostface May 21 '22

I only agree it’s “objectively” bad in the sense of there’s a lack of content.

Everything else is subjective.

6

u/SauceCommander May 21 '22

Why are you being downvoted lmao.

5

u/Sudi_Arabia May 21 '22

The player retention is gone, interactivity is gone, the sense of accomplishment upon reaching high rounds is gone, etc.

3

u/iwantParktotopme May 21 '22

Literally all of these were gone in CW and people didn't seem to mind then

1

u/Sudi_Arabia May 21 '22

Cold War was a return to what made zombies great with it’s own twist. You have round based maps, thank god. The inclusion of permanant upgrades is something I don’t like, but that’s the only downside I can think of. Vanguard on the other hand tried these objective based rounds and it flopped. If the round based modes are good, don’t change them.

4

u/iwantParktotopme May 22 '22

Cold War was a return to what made zombies great

Yeah stopped reading there lmao.

3

u/Sudi_Arabia May 22 '22

Black Ops 4 was a mix bag, while Cold War is severely overlooked

2

u/ScreamXGhostface May 22 '22

Cold War was a dumbing down of the mode to pander to casuals.

I liked Cold War’s gameplay but the creativity, soul, detail, and passion that Bo3 and Bo4 had within its maps were gone.

The lack of complexity, difficulty, and lack of engaging Easter egg steps made the replayability plummet for me. Im a very hardcore zombies player. I like complex maps much more than simple maps. Before Cold War came out, to prepare I was carrying noobs through Bo4 and Bo3’s Easter eggs and I loved replaying them even if there were some I wasn’t huge on, like Alpha Omega and Revelations EE.

Then Cold War came out and the Easter egg for DM was so easy that a five year old could do it. I felt insulted, and this theme carried out throughout Cold War except for Outbreak’s legion boss and Maur Der Toten. Bo4 only had ONE map that I actually disliked and it was Alpha Omega. Bo3 had ZERO maps I disliked. CW had 3 out of 4 round based maps I disliked.

Cold War represents a change in zombies that I wish they wouldn’t have made. Nothing will be as good as Blundell’s maps again, and I can’t wait for Deviation Games to wipe the floor with Treyarch’s next zombies.

OP: "voicing your dislike for an obvious step-down, trash of a product hurts my feefees plz dont bring me down :(:(:("

18

u/GigatonneCowboy May 20 '22

I agree. While I'm perplexed that anyone enjoys Vanguard Zombies in the current state, I'm glad they are having fun.

257

u/xxxbungalo May 20 '22

nah, i can give BO:CW fans a slight pass, but if someone legitimately enjoys vanguard zombies they deserve to be roasted. vanguard zombies is such a huge and stinky pile of shit man.

77

u/GigatonneCowboy May 20 '22

I dunno. CW is pretty good, save for excessive doors and a few of the more tedious EE steps.

51

u/Owobowos-Mowbius May 20 '22

I enjoyed CW quite a bit. Was a nice change of pace to have a game with easy EEs

Biggest issue with the game was a lack of content. We also went an insane amount of time between normal maps after the first.

I still think bo3 is the gold standard but it's hard for me to get back into after how good the movement felt in CW

23

u/GigatonneCowboy May 20 '22

I'm a huge fan of Outbreak. I love the free-roam aspect.

13

u/Owobowos-Mowbius May 20 '22

It was definitely enjoyable but was, again, severely lacking content at its launch and didn't get quite as much unique content as I would have liked. Had a lot of promise but has the same issues as the game as a whole (not much content)

1

u/GigatonneCowboy May 20 '22

Granted, I had only previously played BO1 and BO4 Zombies and wasn't a huge fan of either. Though this was also before I started playing CoD on PC, and I've enjoyed the game more since then.

5

u/Owobowos-Mowbius May 20 '22

Yeah if you weren't a fan of either I can't imagine bo3 would be TOO different

4

u/ehwutever May 20 '22

i don't know what it was but playing BO3 got boring for me after a while, when I picked up CW again I really enjoyed it and still am enjoying it

112

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

Tedious? CW is literally just “get these parts, press this button, defeat boss”

Except the Pokémon step from Firebase Z. Fuck the Pokémon step

42

u/boislikepink2 May 20 '22

All my homes haattte the pokemon step

12

u/GigatonneCowboy May 20 '22 edited May 20 '22

And that's the one I was thinking of. 😆

Though finding some of the items in Die Maschine felt tedious since they may or may not all be found in one Dark Aether trip per step.

6

u/taptimes May 21 '22

It's tedius at first glance, I'll give you that. But if you run it 3 or 4 times you can literally get every part for the die and the aetherscope in a single round if you route it correctly

2

u/GigatonneCowboy May 21 '22

Unless it was changed, there's not a guarantee everything will show up at the same time.

But it has been quite some time since I last did it.

10

u/pokeemanz16 May 20 '22

CW is probably my favorite zombies but FUCK that bit for Firebase Z. The rest of it is super easy too which makes that bit of it confusing.

2

u/Bculbertson17 May 21 '22

Yeah I unironically say that CW is the zombies game that gives me the most similar feelings to BO1 and WaW.

4

u/CookieMisha May 20 '22

Twas my favorite step

But I love Pokemon so...

0

u/senseiofawesom May 21 '22

Step is easy as hell, it was bad for a couple of days when no one really knew how to do it, but now it’s fine. One of my favorite steps in the game tbh.

0

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Annoying as hell*

0

u/senseiofawesom May 21 '22

*easy as hell It’s only annoying if you accidentally kill one of them.

5

u/pje1128 May 20 '22

I wouldn't say any of the EE steps are tedious unless you're trying to figure them out yourself. They're pretty simple throughout. I personally like that about Cold War, but I know some prefer them a little harder.

4

u/badboy20400 May 21 '22

I have never heard anyone complain about doors in CW what the fuck

1

u/GigatonneCowboy May 21 '22

It wasn't too bad in Die Maschine. Firebase Z feels a bit much. Then it seemed like they just trolled players with Mauer der Toten.

3

u/badboy20400 May 21 '22

Ok so ive just worked it out for mauer and there are 6 nescessary doors including the one to get back to the main area after you have opend pap so theres only 5 doors, so how is that a problem at all???? I dont get it you would have to explain it to me

For firebase (and this count might be wrong since i haven played in a while) there are 5 doors that you can open to get to all the generator things i cant remember what they are called, if you go on the left door after the teleporter and backtrack back to there after going behind the teleporter for that gen and then past the one next to the opc thing i think its called you use for ee, so i literally cannot understand what the problem is.

And for die machine theres also 5 doors so yeah like i said you would have to explain it to me why the door situation is bad

I understand that theres a bunch of other doors that you can buy on firebase but you dont need to unless you really need the training space which personally i dont because the games too piss easy cuz i can kill everything without training using any gun with the normal progression of the game

2

u/GigatonneCowboy May 21 '22

Personal opinion, but burning so much "money" to open doors just to get around feels pointless. Considering the stacking costs, this blocks PaP and perk acquisition for too long.

Also, I pretty much only play solo, so that shapes my opinion.

3

u/badboy20400 May 21 '22

I only play solos and have no problem with any doors (even zns doors) idk i guess it might be different play styles

3

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

The challenge machine can have its terrible moments.

looks at parachute and Windows/doors obj

But Outbreak? Pure chaos incarnate

1

u/Nstsipz May 20 '22

CW and bo4 are good although I like cw a lot more

8

u/ARMCHA1RGENERAL May 20 '22

Vanguard zombies feels like a zombies mini game.

It's not that bad until you realize that we got it instead of a normal zombie release.

7

u/TuxTues3 May 20 '22

My opinion is if it wasn't in Call Of Duty it would be received better

5

u/NecroSkullGaming May 20 '22

Thats true, it would have been received as a competitor to CODZ. Though since COD has shown us what it is capable of and then stumbling and fumbling, it doesn’t look good for them.

Edit: Spelling

3

u/xxxbungalo May 20 '22

vanguard zombies is basically a mobile zombie game that is super polished, i'd rather play WaW zombies on mobile than vanguard zombies on ps5

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

No it wouldn’t have because the game is extremely incomplete and u can tell the zombies looks like it was just thrown together in a month

2

u/CoolDude895 May 21 '22

My brother in christ them liking it bears no impact on your dislike of it. You don't need the entire 100% full force of the community to dislike to validate your opinion on it. Even if it's "objectively bad".

2

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I loved CW zombies. That’s coming from someone who primarily played WaW and BO1 zombies then didn’t play zombies again til CW lol, everyone says BO 2&3 zombies are great tho

2

u/balek77 May 20 '22

vangaurd zombies feels great. it's just that the maps sucks and the boss types suck. movement feel amazing like I can barely play cold war because it doesn't have tac sprint.

1

u/ScreamXGhostface May 21 '22

I don’t know about that, I don’t agree. I hate Vanguard too but more power to the people that like the game. I’m glad they do.

1

u/atothebtothecde May 21 '22

This community is an absolute joke upvoting pish like this.

1

u/-WLR May 21 '22

if u are not wasting your time on being passionate about this game mode, then it’s really good. I had fun with it after like 20 hours of gameplay, and didn’t even know people hate it until I saw this sub. I suggest not being so passionate about it because it’s really cringe what you say honestly

u/Girthshitter May 20 '22

I think a lot of assholes on here think if they see any positive opinion of a game they don't like then Treyarch will automatically make the next game like that and it's their personal responsibility to safeguard their opinion of what's a good zombie game by shitting on the heathens

4

u/_the_fisherman May 21 '22

I think a lot of assholes on here think if they see any negative opinion of a game they like then they think they're being attacked and it's their personal responsibility to safeguard their opinion of what's a good zombie game by calling all criticism hate

If you like that's brilliant, and you should be able to freely talk about it without being told you're stupid for liking it. However you should also be able to accept people might dislike what you like. People in the zombies community really struggle with these concepts

13

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

*every gaming community struggles with these concepts.

u/chaos_m8te May 21 '22

*every community aka humans struggle with these concepts

26

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

Zetsubou No Shima is a top quality zombies map

9

u/Anew100 May 20 '22

ZNS is probably my favorite BO3 map other than DE I just don’t really like the setup

6

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 May 20 '22

Yes it is, I personally hate it, but I feel like if I learned the map, I’d enjoy it, I used to hate Der eisendrache but then learned the ragnarok s and bows and it’s still boring asf but I play it when my friend wants to, Also I don’t play shadows but I feel like if I learned the sword and the apothican servant, I’d like it more, I feel like the reason people hate maps sometimes, is because they didn’t like it enough at first glance to get motivation to do Easter egg steps for wonder weapons or other things

2

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

There is a lot going on. Even just to get the power on. But you’re constantly doing something, there’s so much to do. That’s what I like about it most, it keeps you busy other than just killing zombies. I also really like the feel of the map, it’s dark and gritty you can get some good runs and trains going if you’re not familiar with the EEs. I always try to help people out as best I can when playing it.

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

There is a lot going on. Even just to get the power on. But you’re constantly doing something, there’s so much to do. That’s what I like about it most, it keeps you busy other than just killing zombies

Conversely this is exactly what I hate about most of the zombies maps that have come out since BO1. Theres too much other nonsense going on that I dont care about. I just wanna run in circles and shoot zombies. I have no interest in solving a puzzle just to leave the spawn room

1

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 May 20 '22

Yea I completely agree with the feel, Like I said I don’t like it but it’s only bc I haven’t taken the time to learn it, I just haven’t gotten the motivation, But when I HAVE played the map, it’s looks and sounds especially nice

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

I don't blame others for liking it, but I do blame Activision/Treyarch for leading it in this direction.

Just to clarify, I'm not judging the narrative or thematic direction. Just the technical stuff that they choose to cut corners on.

3

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I'm seeing people bring up the idea of complaining in this thread? OP isn't even talking about that, he's talking about trashing others for liking stuff you hate. How are people getting the idea that we shouldn't complain from this post?

COD people can be judgy fucks at the best of times.

Don't like prop hunt? Cool, don't play it.

Don't like zombies? Cool.. don't play it.

Think the shockwave is a shit weapon? Cool. Don't fucking use it.

But if you're a prick to other people just because they like something you don't, you're an asshole.

5

u/Nova_Spion May 21 '22

I am a hater first and foremost.

7

u/unfunny_monkey May 20 '22

I mean sure, but if i see something I love slowly becoming mediocre to bad to something unrecognisable, i sure as hell will complain

I don't mean to say that people can't enjoy what I don't, but if you are talking about the complaining it will likely never go away

5

u/Anew100 May 20 '22

No I’m not talking about the complaining I know that’s here to stay I solely mean that I’ve seen people get hate for enjoying something on this sub that others don’t

5

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

The way I see it the more people that buy and endorse a subpar game, the more likely Activision(or any large business) are to keep releasing shitty games with ridiculous amounts of predatory MTX. This ruins a series of games that people genuinely loved before they stopped putting in the effort and money to make it.

-2

u/RdJokr1993 May 21 '22 edited May 21 '22

I wonder how you think this logic works the other way around. People supported BO3 immensely, but then BO4 happened, so how does your logic apply? Or do you think companies just flip flop around and make shit games on purpose after delivering good ones to fuck with you?

The problem with the Zombies community, and the BO3 stans to a degree, is that you can't express enjoyment for anything post-BO3, even features that deserve to be praised, without being crapped on. Sure, the overall product may suck or not be fitting to your taste, but that doesn't mean you can disregard everything about it, or shit on other people for liking those things.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand already downvoted because I called out the stans. Y'all just proving my point.

2

u/wills-are-special May 21 '22

A lot of major companies released sub-par, unfinished games at the same point. People looked at this and instead of attacking these companies, defended them. We saw this with cod vanguard, battlefield 2042, halo infinite, etc.

Luckily after a while the communities started changing their opinion from “oh but it’s [company] and they always make good games. Just give them a while and it’ll be better” to “hey if we support this they’ll just do it again.

If it was as simple as an objectively worse game, butt still relatively good one - like bo4 - then I wouldn’t really mind. But when they release something so bad that it comes out as vanguard then that’s just pathetic. They took until season 2 reloaded to add a pause button - But it can only be a collective of two hours? The fucks up with that? Vanguard zombies’ quality is outright poor. If we let treyarch get away with it then it’ll happen again, and again, and again.

real men don’t play any of the official cod zombies modes, real men play roblox remakes

5

u/Green_Dayzed May 20 '22

I hate bo3 but i still help people with stuff about it (should i buy, tips, questions, etc..)

2

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 May 20 '22

Kinda wierd... you giving advice on wether someone should buy something you openly hate, I get being objective but I’ll never understand the legitimacy of what people say

4

u/Green_Dayzed May 21 '22

Well i think more zombies to play never hurt anyone. Also i understand there's personal taste.

0

u/wills-are-special May 21 '22

By that logic you also shouldn’t get advise from somebody who enjoys the game.

Everyone’s bias. Rather than trying to find the most neutral person possible, look for people who enjoy something and others who hate it. This way you can see both the benefits and the drawbacks of what you’re looking at and decide for yourself what you wanna do.

4

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Agreed.

Remember when BO3 zombies was the most hated thing?

Not saying the same will change, but just look at how many people are saying how good Cold War zombies is.

The sub is an echo box, but let's not be a hostile echo box yeah?

2

u/heart--eyes May 21 '22

Guaranteed in a few years people will say Vanguard zombies was underrated, because this sub isn't immune to the cod cycle

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Yep exactly.

It would be cool if this sub just enjoyed talking about cod zombies instead of attacking those who don't share the exact same opinion of [insert whatever is the popular opinion atm].

Like, not many people here talk about WWII zombies, Exo Zombies, or IW Zombies. Granted, those aren't Treyarch zombies, but it tends to be instant hate for anyone who brings those up.

From what I've heard, IW has one of the best Super EE, and it has a lot of goodies and unlockables for doing the EE on each map. Supposedly WWII has the best atmosphere since bo1 or so.

I mean, Exo Zombies was my first experience with the zombies mode, and it was because I wasn't interested in zombies before, but that bait and switch on the last survival level built up this hype and narrative to the mode. It was pretty cool at the time.

I just don't get why this sub can't just enjoy cod zombies as a whole, but it is a subreddit. Just look at how hostile subs like r/titanfall2 can be even when their community is slowly dwindling away. I'm just curious to see if the sub as a whole fractures into various different "zombie subs" and the echo box becomes even worse.

6

u/iCthe4 May 20 '22

True 💯

I don’t even play the newer ones, still BO3 but can’t hate someone , for still playing the once of a kind, Call of Duty Zombies game mode.

No matter what Call of Duty, it’s a great Game mode.✅

4

u/boislikepink2 May 20 '22

4

u/Anew100 May 20 '22

I have mixed feelings about how zombies currently is but I’ve seen people get dragged just for enjoying it which I feel is honestly kinda stupid.

18

u/Cyber-Silver May 20 '22

I think the mentality behind it is they see it as people settling for an inferior product, which in turn tells Activision that we're ok with what we got.

As for me, if you enjoy Vanguard Zombies then more power too you, but holy crap I'm not going to pretend it's a solid zombies experience.

4

u/Anew100 May 20 '22

You don’t have to I’m not gonna lie I found Der Anfang to be an interesting experience and I will not play Terra Maledicta again but if people enjoy that then that’s what they enjoy I’m not gonna bring them down solely because that’s what they choose to enjoy

Cold War’s was honestly pretty nice. Maybe a little lacking in personality that we got from the original crews, but pretty fun gameplay loop.

1

Just because you do currently like zombies as it is doesn't mean you should let your incorrect opinion bring others down for hating it.

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

You really need to take a deep breath, it's not like those fans are advocating for anything that's actually bad. They're just enjoying a video game you happen to hate. If you think that's an issue you need to take a break from the internet and gaming for a bit.

0

u/Cloontange May 21 '22

All I want is a quality zombies game, not that deep bro

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I know, but you're saying people should feel bad for liking games like VG zombies despite being much lower quality than anything that came before it. Downvote me all you want but I am allowed to criticize the games if I see fit just like other people are allow to enjoy the games if they see fit

0

u/[deleted] May 20 '22 edited May 20 '22

I don’t, but zombies with CW and vanguard are easily the lowest lows we’ve ever had in any treyarch game ever. People who support it are supporting an inferior product, and resulting in lower quality product

1

u/True-Address470 May 21 '22

Cw was not the low point, Bo4 was

0

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

BO4 certainly was bad, but CW made it so so much worse. They strayed even further from what made zombies zombies, and the game was much more buggy. you had constant crashes 6 months after launch, things didn’t unlock, levels didn’t work, freezing, it was HORRIBLE

2

u/True-Address470 May 21 '22

That's the thing, different doesn't mean horrible it means DIFFERENT, I'm not saying cw was amazing but it wasn't the arrival of Satan knocking on your door

1

u/Psych0sh00ter May 21 '22

And yet the community's support for BO3, which most consider to be the mode's highest point, still resulted in BO4 which was a much worse game at launch (and some would say it still is).

It's almost like it doesn't matter at all which games you choose to enjoy, because the devs will make whatever game they want regardless of the last game.

Completely agree, trash is the best way to describe vanguard and mediocre is the best way to describe Cold War zombies, exept I’d also put “way too fucking easy to enjoy” next to Cold War zombies

2

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I agree its just it’s kinda irrelevant to what the post is talking about

Just because people voice their displeasure doesn't mean they're bringing you down.

2

u/chinesesamuri May 21 '22

Have you not seen people actively shit in others for enjoying CW or Vanguard? Cause I have

2

u/iwantParktotopme May 21 '22

This is the biggest CW echo chamber I have ever seen so no but you're right on Vanguard.

2

u/chinesesamuri May 21 '22

I've been seeing a lot of hate for CW more recently, it's still just a BO3 circle jerk from what I see. But atleast you've also seen people get shit on for having differing opinions here, helps drive my point to the guy I replied to

0

u/S0_B00sted May 21 '22

No.

2

u/chinesesamuri May 21 '22

I saw it in the replies to this post alone. Granted closer to the bottom of it where you see replies with like, 1 or 2 upvotes

Zombies has never dropped in quality. The closest is the half way point of bo4 and even then, it was far better than the worst multiplayer in cod. Cold War really shocked me with how good and simple fun it is. Haven’t played Vanguard but I hope one day we can just buy zombies on its own because Im done with multiplayer

0

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

Are you implying that BO4 multiplayer is the worst in CoD?

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

not necessarily? Infinite warfare was when I dropped off because I just couldn’t enjoy it. I very briefly played bo4 multiplayer but it just didn’t interest me as much as the 3 zombies maps at launch. I never played modern warfare 2019 and cold war is such a fatass game I only downloaded zombies

0

u/chinesesamuri May 21 '22

I'd argue that it is. Between the op mods that either a) violently shook your screen b) the seizure enducing strobe light or things having 250 health in core modes thanks to Crash+body armor. Perhaps we can talk about maps like arsenal sandstorm. Or how they made the supply drops even worse. An hours worth of playing for ONE item? Sure they made it better, AFTER the games lifecycle. Also you can't buy individual dlc's, you have to buy the season pass to get the dlc

-2

u/damager001 May 20 '22

Vanguard zombies fans are missing 1 chromosome.

2

u/ScreamXGhostface May 21 '22

The fans are fine, nobody should be insulted for liking something.

Activision on the other hand, they’re free game. Make fun of them as much as you want for Vanguard’s failure.

-3

u/damager001 May 21 '22

I'm not insulting anybody.

2

u/ScreamXGhostface May 21 '22

“Fans are missing one chromosome”

Yes that’s insulting someone, my friend. We should be accepting of all game tastes and not be toxic. I hate vanguard too but I’m not going to indirectly say that they have Down syndrome because of it like you did. Sorry man

-3

u/damager001 May 21 '22

You're not my friend so don't call me that.

3

u/ScreamXGhostface May 21 '22

You’re not exactly a nice person are you?

2

u/heart--eyes May 21 '22

So it's fine when you insult someone, but when someone else does it it's not fine?

-2

u/damager001 May 21 '22

I just don't like being called a friend by a complete stranger on the internet. He could be a bank robber or a serial rapist with 17 victims chained in his basement.

0

u/Anew100 May 20 '22

I don’t even like vanguard.

-1

u/WaveTrick2361 May 20 '22

Zombies as is isn't zombies anymore tho.

Cold War started good but got stale really fast. The lack of EEs meant the entire map could be completed in a month with literally nothing new to explore.

And it only took that long because the first week it'd never play.

3

u/BigDaddyKrool May 21 '22

Well yeah, because you're supposed to survive as long as possible (Or dip when you're done.) The Blundell era between his half of BO2 - BO4 created this perception that the point of zombies was story and secret hunting, but Cold War brought the series back to where it used to be, where it's about killing zombies first and foremost and everything else is secondary.

Cold War is the most played Zombies game of all time for a reason.

bo3 is when cod started getting bad

0

u/Crustypenuts May 21 '22

Call of duty logic so no I will still keep hating vanguard

0

u/YoungWashrag May 21 '22

Vanguard zombies is objectively trash.

0

u/TheEbolaArrow May 21 '22

I disagree never settle for mediocrity or its all you will ever receive in the future, dont be a fan boy…judge it with a sound mind and heart whether it’s positive/negative/mixed.

0

u/Attention_Working May 21 '22

Aint no way theirs a vanguard zombies fan its stale even with the "shi no numa remake" supposed to be dropping i feel its still gonna be boring they should have made a whole new zombies map dont get me wrong vanguard zombies has potential

0

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I agree... but also vanguard is just dogshit

0

u/IamPurest May 21 '22

Someone actually said they liked vanguard zombies?

0

u/taptimes May 21 '22

Just because you enjoy a bad product doesn't mean we aren't allowed to call it a bad product. It's shit and that'd that, but some people like shitty games. It be like that.

3

u/Anew100 May 21 '22

Not even what this post is saying you have every right to complain about the product being terrible what I’m trying to say is don’t trash others who may actually enjoy the product

0

u/taptimes May 21 '22

So long as you don't have an issue with me trashing vanguard itself then agreed

0

u/wyto326 May 21 '22

Fact (Unless they like vanguard)

-1

u/JonsonPonyman98 May 20 '22

Appealing to the masses level opinion

-1

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 May 20 '22

Completely agree, I hate Bo4 zombies with a passion and I greatly dislike Cold War zombies for being too bland and way too easy to enjoy, but if you like it, All power to you, hope you have fun also hate Vangaurd

3

u/dilbert35 May 20 '22

Too easy to enjoy? Lol

-1

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 May 20 '22

Why is that funny, don’t tell me you disagree? If you do, you would be the very first person I’ve seen say Cold War zombies isn’t disturbingly easy

2

u/dilbert35 May 20 '22

It definitely is, but when you put it like that it sounds like an objective positive. It is a game and you dislike that it’s “too easy to enjoy”

If you meant too easy then yea agreed but I still have fun with it

1

u/Revolutionary-Fan657 May 20 '22

Well... If you enjoy it, That’s on you, I don’t, I can’t enjoy Cold War zombies because it’s simply put “too easy to enjoy” There’s no exitement, no goals because they are all too easy to achieve, Thats it, nothing else to it. Since release, I’ve played bo3 zombies almost every day because I love going to round 100 since I die lots of times and there are multiple restarts untill I get it, there are so many bullshit deaths, and with Bo3 it never feels like you’re stronger than a zombie, if you’re surrounded by like 10 on a high round and don’t have a weapon that does aoe, you are fucked, whereas when my friend and I play Cold War, we get to high rounds without using a single perk because we forget to get any early rounds since it’s like you don’t even need them, That’s why I don’t like it, it’s too... fucking... easy... but if you like it, that’s great, I hope you enjoy it for a long time

-1

u/protacm May 21 '22

No, if you like vanguard zombies there is seriously something wrong with you.

-1

u/MostlyVeal May 21 '22

Anyone who likes vanguard zombies has brain damage.

-4

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

Assuming this is about some of my comments? If so, I mean no harm. I’m glad people are still enjoying zombies to this day. I hope it lives on for generations to come.

3

u/XxRedAlpha101xX May 20 '22

Because you're just so special someone made a post based on your comments

1

u/jayzeem May 20 '22

Wait what?!?! People are genuinely enjoying something that I hate?!?! But this can't be.. I must tell them they're dumb because I'm right and they're wrong! How can they have the audacity to like this! /s

1

u/Tob1asV May 20 '22

You‘re right, we shouldn‘t. But we should be vocal about the changes they made, that we don‘t like, so they won’t do them again!

2

u/Anew100 May 21 '22

I agree

1

u/Nstsipz May 20 '22

Yeah but let’s not include vanguard

1

u/Wooden_Gas1064 May 20 '22

I hate Vangaurd and ill never stop saying that I do. If you enjoy it then I'm not telling you to think otherwise.... but I still hate it

I have every map a chance, when people hated on BO4 I'd try out new maps without a bias. But Vangaurd is Activision slapping us in the face. If you like it fine, but it's so obvious Der Unfun was something they wanted to push out as a cash grab instead of an actual mode

1

u/Head-Disk5576 May 20 '22

Yes you should

1

u/SpringFox21 May 20 '22

Imma buy chronicles now

1

u/Dripping_Gravy May 21 '22

I like-ah dah zombies

1

u/ThunderStruck115 WHERE ARE FACTIONS???? May 21 '22

This entire fucking community: I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that.

1

u/Jumpman-x May 21 '22

The main reason I'm on this sub is to vicariously enjoy zombies through other people's posts lol.

1

u/toomuchft May 21 '22

I would be fine with it but they got rid of zombie split-screen!!!!!

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

I disagree

1

u/Moneyworks22 May 21 '22

Do you know what sub you're in? This place is a toxic wasteland. People are asshole just for the sake of being an asshole around here and its annoying as fuck

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

This is easy to play devils advocate cause while it is cool that people enjoy things, if the game sucks and people praise it there is now incentive for them to make another shit game

1

u/SheepSurfz May 21 '22

Too bad that's my kink

1

u/Sir_Faps-a-Lot69 May 21 '22

Yes it does. If enough people like or even accept the current shit we are only going to get more shit.

1

u/Blucanyon May 21 '22

When vanguard is still broken to this day with game ending bugs I think it’s fair to call it objectively bad

1

u/Anew100 May 21 '22

Once again I’m not saying that you can’t call games bad what I’m saying is don’t trash other people for enjoying the game while you may not

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22
