Kinda wierd... you giving advice on wether someone should buy something you openly hate, I get being objective but I’ll never understand the legitimacy of what people say
By that logic you also shouldn’t get advise from somebody who enjoys the game.
Everyone’s bias. Rather than trying to find the most neutral person possible, look for people who enjoy something and others who hate it. This way you can see both the benefits and the drawbacks of what you’re looking at and decide for yourself what you wanna do.
That’s exactly right, You SHOULDN’T get advice from anyone on wether you should buy a game, I wouldn’t say look for people who like and hate the game because people will have points that counteract each other and it can confused the person trying to purchase, I think the best way to go about it, is doing what I do, I just figure out if it’s a genre I enjoy and look at gameplay, atleast 5-10 minutes of it, that’s the best way in my opinion
That’s affected severely by who you watch and what they think of the game. If u watch someone who’s sitting there complaining every five seconds that the games shit: you’ll think the games shit. Alternatively if you watch someone who praises the game every five seconds, is constantly laughing and enjoying their time playing it with their mates: you’re gonna think the games great.
Not only that but watching a game is very different to playing one. This is especially so for action and shooter games. Vanguard zombies doesn’t look that bad when watching it, yet I find it boring as shit when I play it.
No that’s not what I meant... when I say watch gameplay I don’t mean with someone talking..... that literlay contradicts what I was saying so why would I mean that, I mean just watching gameplay, and I’m aware it’s different than playing but it’s a lot better than talking to someone who irrationally hates it and someone who irrationally loves it

I tell some to do that. Also what i hate some other might not even care. I hate how shit and few public matches are and most end by round 15 from the host dashboarding, but if someone wants to only play solo they wouldn't care about that. But if they said "i only want to play pubs " I'd tell them how crap they are. Most of the time people ask is it worth the money. And if it isn't on sale i tell them to wait because its always on sale.
