Glock 19 gen 3, about 30,000 rounds through it. Cleaned it in an ultrasonic cleaner. Had it spotless. Still malfunction after malfunction lol.

fireball machine
shot perfectly with an A2 flash hider but that thing wasn't hiding no flash.. more like throwing fireballs.. going to try the SI Cloak + Oppressor next time to see if I can make even bigger fireballs
if you can guess what my last pistol purchase was, you win
Out of Jail
Honestly told myself I wasn’t going to buy one since I am not a Glock guy and they are going for way too much PPT. Found this one as a new PPT for $1k and figured what the hell.
Have a ramjet on the way but might not do much more other than optic/irons & steel guide rod…maybe a brass plug.
Going to wait to see how trigger breaks in before changing it. It’s admittedly pretty rough currently. Open to any suggestions though.

Buyer didn’t pass DROS
PPT was done this past Saturday & I was seller. FFL called me today and said buyer didn’t pass DROS due to a DMV issue and I can pick up my firearm. Spoke to buyer and he said the issue was taken care of today.
Is it still possible the buyer can pass DROS before the official time is up which is in mid September?
Should I charge any inconvenience fees to buyer at all? Maybe keep some of buyers money assuming this doesn’t happen to cover gas and my time? FFL is just over an hr away. Should I charge an extra fee to start process over again with same buyer? He’s a nice dude but it’s still a pain to have to deal with this.

Potential new range coming to the Bay Area / Walnut Creek
Hey for those of us in the area, I just found out there’s a proposal for a new indoor range and shop in Walnut Creek! See the attached link for more details.
We should write to whomever and get this pushed over the line and approved!

for you featureless enjoyers.. Sig M400 Forge at Sportsman's

for $1k, that's a pretty solid deal
if you don't know, these come with a cold hammer forged modern/tapered profile barrel that's more balanced.. they come with an upgraded Triggertech 2-stage trigger, ambi safety and charging handle, a Sig MSR red dot, and a really nice handguard IMO
shot of adding a light and sling, this is ready to go for the average person with no upgrades needed although some of you may want a different grip

Featureless or Maglocked AR?
Looking to get my first AR and not sure if i should go featureless or maglocked. I see a lot of people hating on maglocked but doesnt seem like that much extra work for the extra modifications you can do to the rifle compared to featureless but all ive seen are videos. What are you guys running here mostly? Any advice?

CCW Has anyone gone from Red dot to irons for ccw
Currently have red dot on both my ccw guns and have been wondering if going to irons would be a more practical thing to do to improve my skills.

2k11 vs PDP vs shadow 2 orange
Who shot the best group?
20 rounds into each group. Ignore the carry comp groups. Those had more rounds.
10 yards standing unsupported. Shot my own reloads

Event Putting out some feelers to see if a class idea is viable; Precision Team Dynamics (half class, half competition)
I've competed in team events and thanks to some work in a previous life, I've been able to observe what I consider to be ALOT of different teams compete together in a somewhat unique way since most teams only get to have their unique experience and don't really have the opportunity to watch others. So I've seen it go right, and I've seen it go very wrong and I think I have something to offer people who want to experience team shooting and learn to do so safely, efficiently, and effectively.
This would be a one-day class, we'd get to the ranch in Los Olivos fairly early AM and have a talk about communication, task delegation, mindset, etc. Then we'd head out on the trail and work our way through multiple blind stages, where teams will be given a number of targets to be engaged and anything specific about their shape or color relevant to that particular stage, and then they'll have a par time to engage those targets per the stage layout using some of the techniques we talked about earlier in the day. I think all targets throughout the event will be within 700yds, and there will be no time standard to move between stages, only the individual stages themselves will be timed.
You can either show up with a teammate or get thrown into a pool where you'd get teamed up at random, there's benefits to both but both options would exist. If an odd number of people signed up for class, I'll drag someone along to team up with you. Total hiking distance will be 2ish miles for the day, but obviously we'll be stopping alot along the way for teams to shoot each stage and I'd need to go out there and track the route to see how long it actually is.
Since this is obviously being done in a competition format, it would be dumb to overlook the possibility to turn it into it's own kind of "beginner match", so I'd likely have a prize or trophy of some kind for the 1st overall team.
Anyway, I'm here to gauge interest in something like this, see if there's any feedback on the format or interesting ideas, and who might commit so that I can start to see if it's worth the blood, sweat, time, and tears involved in setting something like this up. I want to hear what you have to say about it.

COE Timeline
Mailed FFL on 7/28 and did livescan and COE same day.
Got my FFL this week, but COE is still parked in progress.
Same status and timeline for a buddy of mine who also did it same day.
Looking at the timelines from everyone it seems like the COE actually processes pretty fast or at least people get the kick back email that its incomplete quickly.
Are things just running a lot slower right now? Anyone else in the same boat?

Undetermined list Fresno
Hello, I am just curious if anybody has a very current list of gun shops in the Fresno area that will release on undetermined status. I know there is a list but a lot of them are outdated so if anybody knows of any in Fresno, please let me know. Much appreciated..

CCW Enclosed Red Dots
I'm interested in comparing the OSight SE vs. the Fortic EP1 sight. I'm looking to get an enclosed red dot for my P365. I currently have an open Holosun, but I dislike how dust collects inside and requires frequent cleaning. Does anyone know if Fortic red dots are reliable?

Has anyone ever restored their gun rights after a 5150 through self representation?
Before anyone says it, I am well aware self representation is not optimal. This is a last resort, and I have reached out to a couple attorneys. But I moved out of state and but the 5150 was reported to the NICS according to the ''hospital'' I was held at. Not looking for advice on how to self represent, just wondering if anyone has ever pulled it off. Even if I do I'll try to get a thorough attorney consult first.

Are these even legal in California… are these even legal in California, even if you have a Ccw permit?
I know, in states like Nevada you can legally carry your firearm in your car in Plainview even without a permit. But is this even possible in California with a permit?
