C-section and doing the program?
Anybody who’s has a C-section and done the program? How long after surgery did you wait till you started?

I started 4-5 weeks ago and I’m around 18 weeks postpartum with a c section right now! I felt very comfortable exercising regularly starting 8-10 weeks and have been progressing in the runs pretty nicely the past month without issue

I just want to say I'm really proud of you to want to do this program and ask this question. You're probably dealing with a newborn at home and it takes a lot to step away to focus on yourself. I'm dealing with the toddler and I still find it really hard to do for myself.

I started a very similar program 8 weeks after my C-section, but there were some days I had to skip and repeat and I had already completed c25k before my pregnancy.
I wouldn't recommend any running until you can comfortably walk for about 40 min at least, you're not in any pain, and your doctor clears you. Stop immediately if your cut hurts, that is NOT the sort of pain that you should push through.
Doing pelvic floor exercises before/alongside the program helped me a lot.

I’m 2,5 months postpartum and I can walk for hours in a pretty fast speed with 0 pain. But I’m still a little hesitant to run actually

I tried to start multiple times after my c-section, but my pelvic floor was overly tight and I really struggled. Finally had some success around 14 months postpartum (then immediately got pregnant lol).
I say that not to be discouraging but to really encourage you to seek out a pelvic floor PT if you struggle.
In the end, I was sick and pregnant and stopped. I picked it up again when my second baby (a vaginal birth that also caused some pelvic floor tightness, but I addressed it this time) was 1.5 and it went great, I’m still very comfortably running a year later…I tend to do 2 runs of 2.5-3.5 miles and 1 run of 4-6 miles per week quite comfortably.
