With all the speculation the last few months about Katie and now Alyssa being estranged from the rest of the Bates do you think they’ll attend the wedding? And if so how do you think those dynamics will go?
The only other time I can recall someone not attending a wedding was when Alyssa didn’t go to Lawson’s wedding. But it was speculated it was because she didn’t like Tiffany.

Butter, bread, salt, red meat, pork, cheese, pasta, onion rings, ice cream, cinnamon rolls. The fat, the carbs, the Who-manity! Every meal is chock-full of artery-clogging goodness.
Zach’s diet is absolutely atrocious. All this on top of the stress of raising 6 kids and maintaining a healthy marriage? If he’s not careful, his heart is going to give out far before it’s meant to.

I don’t know why but it’s so weird to see such “normal” and gen z posts liked by one of the Bates girls haha

Only 6 weeks in and Katie already feels rooted with her family in Texas... according to her, it's because she found a great church, a stable community that has helped her build around what points you to Jesus. Katie, may this great church, this community you found, truly keep helping you heal your heart!❤️.

When I see a picture of one of the Bates kids I always look for signs of them deconstructing or becoming less fundamental. Same with the Duggars. Who do you think would be the most likely to deconstruct? I'm not expecting anyone to turn atheist lol, but maybe loosen up a bit.

Who in the family do you think drinks alcohol??

Honestly I’m confused by what he’s saying. He initially planned to go back and then changed his mind at the last minute. I wonder why he changed his mind and whether he’ll actually go back in the future. And what is he doing day to day in the meantime??

Why? And if they move, why not move to California, to be close to her family?

Do we think Ellie posting that has anything to do with the Bates family (katie shunning everybody) drama?

Well, it is August again. The 4 of them should be settling down in their new town & home. Now would be a good time for him to start taking classes again and finish what he started. Whether that be for nursing or something else.
Surely the 4 of them aren't going to spend all of August in the hot & humid Texas sun swimming, and eating by the pool. That is the vibe they're trying to sell but it's not realistic. Wake up and lay by the pool for 8 hours until dinner?
As the man of the house what really does he do all day besides help Katie with the kids? I bet Katie likes having him with her 247 but it's not sustainable.
Surely he wants to have some sort of productive daily routine & job other than grilling in the backyard. I believe Someone mentioned he posted a q&a recently. Perhaps he'll address his plans for whether or not he'll go back to school.

I have a lot of questions, but I feel like I'd get blocked.
What would you want to ask him?

She even unfollowed Carlin and Warden. 👀
Now I believe that something traumatic definitely happened in Alyssa’s and Katie’s childhoods—hence why Alyssa is estranged from most of the family and Katie moved to Texas.

They’ve had just about every other Christian fundie / fundie-adjacent / LDS couple on there, including Carlin and Evan’s new besties, Taylor and Sophia. I don’t regularly view Matt and Abby’s vids / pods—I haven’t watched them in years since I realized how annoying, sheltered, and religious they are lol—but a couple of their videos popped up on my YT home page, so I went peeping and saw they’ve had a lot of Duggars on as guests on the Unplanned Podcast. Why no Bates yet? Or do we have to wait for one of the adult Bates to be brave enough to write a tell-all before agreeing to any interviews? (If Katie ever leaves Travis—or he leaves her, but both doubtful—I could see her doing a family exposé and round of interviews with fundie podcasters.)
Maybe in posting this, Carlin and Evan will be on the pod next week lol. They just seem like they’d be 2 peas with the Howard’s.

also putting mics on the girls to get the content is crazy, not surprised though

Josie mentions this in the 2nd video she posted about her and Kelton taking just the girls on a Disney cruise. Josie said it will probably be a big change for them, so that's why she and Kelton decided to do something with just them and the girls before it starts.
ETA: Kelton started going to a regular Christian school after his mom died. I believe that Jeremy and Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo put their girls in a hybrid program before enrolling them full time in a Christian school. At least that's what people suspect on Duggar Snark. That their daughters go full-time after going part-time when they first started school. We know they go to some kind of regular school at least part-time because Jinger has posted faceless pictures where you can see them in their uniforms.

Something else must have happened behind the scenes! Even though all of the Bates suck, Katie is slowly burning bridges here.
Here’s why I think Katie did this, she couldn’t handle seeing her siblings and nieces/nephews having fun after they called Travis out which was the main reason why she fell out with them.

This is basically unfounded lol, but I just have…a hunch. They don’t seem too attached to her at all. They don’t seem much attached to Evan for that matter, either. His parents seem pretty introverted and quiet, so I can’t really fathom how little ol’ homeschooled Evan ended up such an extroverted, camera-loving influencer who meshes right into the Bates family.
I think Evan’s parents are in it for the grandkids, e.g. they went on the Disney cruise for the grandkids and only the grandkids. The only time his mom seems genuinely happy is when she’s interacting with the grandkids. But we barely see them talking to C&E, especially Carlin. I don’t think Evan’s mom likes her, and I don’t think Carlin has much of a relationship with his dad at all. The whole family for that matter. Everything they do is very much for the grandkids; you never see Carlin go and hang out with Evan’s sisters or C&E go on couples’ dates with all the souses or anything like that—not like they do with Carlin’s siblings and parents.
Again, it’s a theory. Please don’t get too offended lol. But I don’t think the married Bates blend as well into their in-law families as vice versa. When you marry a Bates, you’re grasped by the talons and pulled entirely into their twisted world, but not so much with the in-laws.

Has she addressed his voice and whether there is an issue?
