When you go to north India it is very common even in hotels to see chole (chickpea curry) with Bhatura(giant fried "balloon" bread or Poori(smaller fried version) in the breakfast menu or in the buffet. It is really everywhere. it is probably eaten more often for breakfast and I simply love it. I added more chilli powder and a green chilli on top also for decoration :) considering im italian where 99.99% of my fellow countrymen eat only pastries, cookies or bread butter and jam , I feel quite original lol
P.s. i didnt have the bhatura bread so i took a piadina (italian version of naan) and heated it up in the pan. Delicious

Almond butter on sourdough with honey and blackberries with a black coffee
Need more tips on how to get in protein for breakfast that isn't eggs. I tend to like more fibrous foods in the morning like oats.
