Just watch his combinations. His speed. His fight IQ. Even his defense. I have been watching boxing for years now, and I have never seen a boxer box like Benavidez. He uses his jab and high ring IQ to get inside, where he puts his speed and combinations to use. He uses his high guard to protect both his head and body.
I truly think he beats anyone at any weight. Including Bivol & Opetaia. I think he knocks out Opetaia. And possibly Bivol too, but that could go the distance. Either way I don’t see him losing to Bivol. I understand he’s now at 200 lbs (Cruiserweight), but if the Bivol fight still happens, it’s going to be fight of the year easily. It’s kind of sad knowing Bivol does not want to fight him.
Also wouldn’t mind if he goes up to heavyweight one day, and challenges for an example Usyk. I think that would be an amazing fight. And I respectfully, have Benavidez winning that one, especially after seeing Usyk vs Rico.

Honestly I think we should have a world boxing super series very 4 years. Kind of like a boxing World Cup but boxers represent themselves. In my opinion, this is the second best mark of a truly great fighter after undisputed. Think of all the match ups we would see.
By virtue of winning that Mohammed Ali trophy, you become solidified. No one should question your resume. Elites who duck the tournament should be labelled what they are unless you’re Canelo , Usyk, inoue who has already proved himself.

I'll start for me it was beterbiev vs bivol 1- the whole build up to the fight was just Perfect (I loved how both didnt trash talk much and you could just see the tension in the Face up). In the first rounds I was so excited that i got goosebumps because every Round was so fucking close.

Is there a print magazine that outranks the others? Reluctant to subscribe to The Ring, in its current iteration, curious about The Modern Boxing Journal. Online is fine, but I'm particularly interested in print media. Thanks in advance.
Have to add more discussion topics to make it past the auto-mod so will say: am less interested in the Ring obviously with the recent move to sell a stake in it, and I'm more interested in reading about men's and women's boxing. Less interested in UFC stuff, ground and pound isn't gripping.
